(This is a holdover one-shot while I get finished up on some of the request one-shots)
Cross's POV
I love Dream but he won't even look at me anymore. Whenever I call him to hang out he's got other plans. I just want him to notice me. I know I can go ask Killer. I teleport to Killer's home. I knock on the door. Killer answers topless looking like he just woke up or something.
"Bro, I know I said you could come over whenever but it freaking 2:13 in the morning. It better be quick cause I want to get back to bed." Killer says before I can even get a word in.
"Sorry, I didn't know what time it was"
"Well, you should check before you go knocking on someone's door at 2 in the morning... Come on in." I follow Killer inside and we sit on the couch. He hands me a cup of coffee that is surprisingly warm. He chuckles a little bit. "I just had a feeling you were coming. So, what do you need help with?"
"Dream won't pay any attention to me at all. Do you have any ideas on how to get him to notice me?"
"Well, you may not like it but you should forget about Dream. He obviously doesn't like you, so you should find someone who does like you."
"That's a great idea!"
Killer looks pretty happy that I accepted his suggestion. "Really?"
"Yeah! I can find someone who likes me and use them to make Dream jealous!"
"That's not what I-"
I cut him off. "Thanks for the help, Killer" I run out the door. Killer is a great best friend he is always there when I need him even after I told him about my crush on Dream, he really wasn't happy about it though.
Now, who has a crush on me that I can use and wouldn't kill me for it. Well, if I picked Ink, Error would kill me, and can't pick Nightmare, he'd kill me himself. I suddenly thought of a better idea. I can just ask Killer to be my fake boyfriend so I can make Dream jealous, then I wouldn't have to worry about making anyone with a crush on me think I like them. It's a great plan!
I'll let Killer sleep and tell him the plan in the morning.
(Time skip: 5 hours later){This time skip was brought to you by, Cross being so oblivious it almost too painful to read}
I teleport back to Killer's house and knock on the door again. Once again Killer opens the door but this time he has a shirt on. "Oh, you're back. Did you think about what I said some more?"
"Yep! I actually came here to talk to you about that"
Killer seems to perk up a little at those words. "Really?"
"Yep, I came to ask you to go on a date with me.... So I can make Dream jealous"
Killer's POV
"Oh......ok" I smile trying to hide my pain. Of course, he doesn't like me. We're friends that's all we'll ever be. Still, it hurts that he's toying with my emotions even if he doesn't know it.
"Thanks, Killer, you're a great friend"
