Dream's POV
How is it possible to like two people at once? I think I'm in love with Cross and Ink. I want to tell them but what if they think it's weird? I should go find them now before I change my mind.
Cross's POV
I was out with Ink, repairing Aus. Tell, your boyfriend that he's about to step on an unfinished piece. I told you, I don't like him, I like Dream. Whatever you say. "Ink, watch out, Chara said that the ground you're about to step on isn't solid."
He takes his paintbrush and pokes the ground with it. It goes right through. "Thanks, Cross, that could have ended badly." He takes a look around. "I think we got everything. Could you ask Chara to make sure?"
"Ok" Did we miss anything? Nope. "We're good." Ink gives me a thumbs-up as the signal. The Overwrite button appears in front of me. I press it and then it disappears. That button used to cause pain and suffering, but now I can use it to help people. It saves the changes Ink and I make and deletes the broken code so if the Au reloads we don't have to fix it again.
Ink hugs me out of excitement and without even thinking, I just kiss him. To my surprise, he kisses back. We separate after what feels like an eternity and just a split-second at the same time.
"I love you"
"I thought you were in love with Dream"
"Yes, but I love you too."
Ink's POV
Cross loves me and Dream? How is that even possible?
"Ink! Cross! I finally found you guys!" Dream says, while almost knocking us over with hugs. "I have to talk to both of you and it's really important."
"Are you ok? Do we need to beat someone up for you?"
"No, it's not that silly. It's just..." He looks down at the ground for a second before getting his confidence back. "I love you both. I didn't know it was possible to love two people but I love both of you."
"I love both of you too."
Dream feels like this too? But how? This doesn't make any sense.
I guess I must have said that out loud because Dream answered my question. "It's love, it doesn't have to make sense. Do you love us?"
"I think I do."
