Study Group

(I was going to put this in the random book then I realized it fit better here.)

3rd person POV

Quill invited some friends over to his dorm room for a study/hangout. Nix was the first to arrive. Nix is half-brother to both Quill and Nova. Quill answered the door and let him in, Nova stayed on the couch, cuddled up in his oversized coat. Before Quill or Nix could speak, Nova decided to tease Nix a little bit.

"Hey, Nesquick!"

"It's Nix!"

"Ok, Nixquick"

"That was one time!!!"

Quill interrupted them before they started yelling any louder. "What are you talking about?"

Nova and Nix both looked at each other, not sure what they should tell Quill. Just then there was a knock at the door. Quill answered the door again and this time it was Blue Screen and Abyss.

"Hi," Blue Screen said. Abyss didn't say anything and just walked right in. They all waited around for the last two friends to arrive.

"I didn't know you had a roommate," Abyss said.

"I have a name. It's Nova"

"Alright, puffball."

"Can we all try to get along please?" Quill asked. Abyss sat on the couch next to Nova and they both ignored each other. "Thank you"

After a few minutes Raven and Blueprint finally showed up and they brought coffee which was promptly given to Nova as an apology for so many people being over.

"Let's go over the stuff we learned in class today," Quill said. They went over some problems before Nova got up to get more coffee. He came back to find Abyss had taken over the entire couch so because he was too annoyed to find another spot, he sat directly in Abyss's lap.

Abyss blushed. "What are you doing?"

"You sat in my spot, so now I'm sitting on you." They finished up studying and then just stayed in the living room while Quill went to make pizza rolls. Raven and Blueprint started making out.

"Hey, not in my dorm!" Nova said.

"So it's ok if you sit on your boyfriend's lap but we can't kiss?" Raven countered.

"He's not my boyfriend." Raven and Blueprint went back to making out.

Abyss tried to get off the couch but Nova wouldn't let him up. Abyss rolled his eyelights and shoved Nova off his lap causing him to land on his butt on the floor and his hood to flop over his head. "Hey!"

Abyss just ignored him and went to the kitchen to check on Quill. Both of them came out of the kitchen with food a few seconds later. They all ate and then the visitors left.

"Wasn't that fun?" Quill asked Nova.

"No"

"You had fun, I can tell. Can we do this again next week? Please? Pretty please??"

"Alright, I guess we can do it again."

So yeah, seems like I'm able to write ship kids and angst, it's improvement. See ya, imaginary people.
