A few days later bumblebee and bulkhead went to the artic. They found a pod but it was frozen solid. Rachet was making sure the bots were warmed up. Bulkhead said he was fine but rachet said they had to go though the defrosting.

"Rachet, any idea what we uncovered?" Optimus asked. "Not yet, the pod can't be opened while it's frozen solid." Rachet said. "Then we will just have to wait" Skywalker said. Optimus kissed her. She smiled. He put his hand on her stomach. "How long until you show?" He asked. "Not sure. But, you and Arcee need to prepare yourself's. Tomorrow you check out the artic your self's." Sky said. "I know. I would like to come but.." Skywalker laughed. "I know I can't. Pregnant, remember" she said. "I know" Optimus kneeled down and kissed her stomach. "I can't wait until it's here" he said.

The next day was Saturday. Bumblebee and bulkhead went to pick up the kids. Rachet started the ground bridge. "Arcee and I will see if we can find any clues to what we uncovered" Optimus said. Rachet said to be careful. He said that once the core temperature reaches the blue zone, damage isn't just likely, there eminent. A horn start honking. Everyone turned and saw Raf, Miko and Jack. "Shouldn't they be in school?" Rachet asked. "On Saturday? We have the whole weekend off, to spend with you" Miko said. "I wasn't expecting the carpool, what gives Arcee?" Jack asked. "Recon jack, it's my turn for exploration duty" Arcee said. "Oh to bad. Is a lovely day to for a ride. Wouldn't want you to feel guilty for leaving me indoors" jack said trying to convince him to come along. Arcee got it. "Arctic exploration" Arcee said. "Indoors where is warm" jack said quickly. "The Arctic? I always wanted to see snow" Raf said. "I would invite you to join Raf, the the conditions are much to extreme. Even for we autobots" Optimus said. "I understand." Raf said sadly. Optimus and Arcee were about to go through the bridge when Optimus stopped. "But, I will bring you back a snowball" he said. "That would be awesome" Raf said. Arcee and Optimus went though. "Trasport complete" as rachet said that, the control for the bridge started sparking. Rachet stepped back. "by the allspark" he said.

"So what do you all want to do today?" Bulkhead asked. Bumblebee started buzzing. "Video game tournament, last one standing wins" Raf said excitedly. "That sounds fun." Skywalker said. "bulkhead, bumblebee, here now" rachet called. They went to see what's up.

Miko and Jack got a controller before Raf could. Jack said it wasn't his thing until Miko mocked him saying he was scared to lose to a girl. He asked Raf If he wanted to take on Miko but he said he had stuff to do. He left the room. Skywalker stopped him. "Hey, maybe i can take you somewhere later that is safer for you and you can still see snow." Skywalker said. "Thanks sky" he said as he left. "What in the allspark could have caused this?" Rachet asked.

"What's up?" Skywalker asked. "The ground bridge is down" rachet said. Then the electricity started flickering. "What caused that?" Skywalker asked. The TV turned off wiping the game Miko and Jack were playing.

Then Raf came into the room and said "hey guys, check out what I found" rachet at first got annoyed. "We're busy. Ah!" He yelled. The other bots except for Skywalker started stumbling back. "Whoa what is it?" Raf asked. "Scraplet, scraplet!" Bulkhead said scared. "Scraplet? I've read about them" Skywalker said joining the other bots. "What's a scraplet?" Raf asked. "The most vile vermin to walk the face of Cybertron" rachet said. The kids stood straight. "This?" Jack asked. "You guys are great big bots, Scrappy here is, teeny" Miko said. "You have no idea what that teeny thing can do. They eat nothing but metal" bulkhead said. "Oh he won't hurt anyone" Raf said innocently.

As he said that, the scraplet in his arms woke up and started attacking bumblebee. Bumblebee eventually got it off him. Raf killed it with a crowbar. "I'm sorry bumblebee. Will he be okay?" Raf asked. "It's just a mesh wound. He'll live" rachet said. "Now do you believe me? All scraplets do is eat metal, especially living metal." Bulkhead said. "Indeed, and the ground bridge and power down are sure signs that there infestation is on there way" rachet said. "So, bug squashed, problem solved right?" Jack asked. "No, when it comes to scraplets there are never just one, and I think I know how they got in here" he said nervously.

They went to the pod. "Is a trap, a scraplet trap" rachet said. "A empty scraplet trap" bulkhead said. They had a theory that the pod was sent to earth only to wind up in the Arctic. Until they brought the thaw. The kids agreed to protect the bots but there was one problem. There were 4 bots and only 3 humans. Sky decided to leave base until it was resolved. She had no choice but to fly around. She stayed low and that helped her lightheadedness. She could only hope that Optimus was okay. She knew he wouldn't survive if they didn't get the bridge up. And Arcee was there too, they both needed to get back.

After several hours, rachet was able to get ahold of Skywalker and tell her Optimus and Arcee were safe. Sky flew back to base and embraced her husband. He was still very cold. "are you alright?" She asked. "Im fine now. But very cold and tired" Optimus said. Sky went into there room and pulled out something she's been working on for a few years. She knew how to crochet and was making a blanket for Optimus. She finally finished it the day before this. She came out with the huge red and blue blanket and wrapped it around her husband. Rachet told the kids what to do with there bots. "You should get some rest too rachet, you saved quite a few lives today" Optimus said. "It wasn't all my doing, we are just fortunate that this infestation happened, on a Saturday." Rachet said. "our human friends may be small, but they are strong." As soon as Optimus said that, Miko screamed. Raf and Jack jumped in front of her saying "scraplet?" With crowbars in there hands. "Spider, is it on me?" She asked freaking out and ran out of the room. Skywalker held in some laughter. "did she just scream like a little girl?" Bulkhead asked. That did it. Skywalker bursted out laughing. "Hey, weren't you afraid of spiders when you were human?" Jack asked. "No, I wasn't." Skywalker said. "Oh, well then nevermind" he said. Everyone except Optimus started laughing.
