A week later, rachet had a sample of synthetic energon. Raf was there and Rachet said he could watch him test a sample. It was put in a test engine. It seemed to work. Raf tried to call bumblebee over but rachet said they needed to go though more trial before even thinking about fuel or first aid. Skywalker heard the whole conversation. For her, she was focused on other things. She had a harder time walking with her stomach so big. She was due in just a couple more weeks.  There was an energon signal on the move. They barely had any energon. Rachet said that if someone came back wounded, the energon reserve would be nearly depleted. "Understood. Open the ground bridge. Autobots roll out!" Optimus ordered. "Sometimes, I wish I could do more" rachet said.

Skywalker's energy was low. "rachet, I'm going to take a nap. I need rest." Skywalker said. "alright" he said. Skywalker walked to the room that she shared with Optimus. She normally didn't sleep anymore. Not since she became an autobot. But her pregnancy was taking a lot out of her. As she was about to lay down, she heard a thud. A big thud. She waddled out to the main room and saw Rachet on the ground. "Rachet!" Skywalker called. Raf got on him. Rachet got up and Skywalker and Raf asked if he was alright. He said he was fine. Then he realized he was more than fine.

He looked at his health. His function was up by 30%. He was shocked. He asked if there was any word from the others. They heard Optimus telling rachet to get Arcee an emergency ground bridge. Arcee wasn't having it. She knew they needed the energon. She got hurt and rachet told Skywalker and Raf to man the ground bridge.

When they got back, everyone was saying rachet was a fighting machine. He picked up Raf. "Hey there little fella" rachet said and put him down. "Alright, what's your secret?" Arcee asked. "No secret. Just alittle something I like to call syn-en" he said tossing her a sample.

"You mean Rachet makes a better tough guy than I do a smart guy?" Bulkhead asked. The syn-en was passed until it got to Optimus. "I wonder the wisdom of testing this on yourself." Optimus said. "Optimus, you didn't see him out there. He was in overdrive. We should all try this stuff" Arcee said. "While I agree that the results seem promising, I think we should do further testing. On machine's, not autobots" Skywalker said. "I absolutely agree." Optimus said.

The next day they saw the Decepticons hit an energon vein. Optimus was getting ready to tell everyone to roll out. "Wait boss, shouldn't we wait for our secret weapon?" Bulkhead asked. "I highly doubt that this mission will require medical expertise" Optimus said. "but you never know if it will call for raw power. Bumblebee and Skywalker can handle bridge duty" rachet said. Skywalker noticed a change in attitude in rachet. They left for the mission. Bumblebee buzzed. "Yeah, I'm worried too." Skywalker said. "Hey bee, can I ask you something." Skywalker said. He buzzed. "You don't have to answer if you don't want to, but I've been curious on what happened to your voicebox." Skywalker admitted. Bee sighed. He started buzzing saying he was captured by Megatron and was interrogated. He said he refused to provide Intel so Megatron ripped out his voice box. He was left for scrap until two other autobots found him and took him to rachet.

Skywalker felt bad. "I'm guessing you still miss your original voice" Skywalker said. Bumblebee only nodded. He buzzed. "Thank you for telling me. I'll always listen bee" Skywalker said.

"Bumblebee, bridge us back to base" Optimus said though the com link. Bumblebee opened the bridge. Rachet came though. Then he ran back out. "Rachet!" Skywalker yelled. The bridge closed. Bumblebee opened it back up and went to see what happened. Optimus called and said the synthetic energon was messing with Rachet's head. Everyone got back to base and tried to find Rachet's life signal. "We've got to find rachet before he finds Megatron" Optimus said. The synthetic energon was messing with his life signal.

Some time passed and Rachet's life signal went back online. "Autobots, roll out" Optimus ordered. Everyone but Skywalker left. "Be careful love." Skywalker said. She went to the sick bay to prepare it just in case. Rachet had been teaching her how to treat bots so she had something to do since she couldn't go on missions anymore. She wasn't fully trained, but she knew enough to help rachet.

When everyone returned, rachet was in bad shape. Skywalker realized he has lost a lot of energon. Good and bad. She quickly set up a energon transfusion.

Luckily, where they found rachet, they were able to get a lot more much needed energon. When rachet woke up he knew the synthetic energon needed reformed before testing again. On machines. Not autobots. Skywalker said she would help rachet with the research to try to finish the formula. No matter how long it would take to finish it.
