Rivers
This was not what I was fucking expecting. What the fuck happened to her? Why is she limp in Zach's arms? What the hell is going on?
"What the fuck did you do to her?" I could feel the blood boiling in my body as Zach just gave me a blank look. He nodded his head to the right and I saw Boss with a syringe in his hand. I looked back at Zach and he just gave me a nod and continued walking in the direction towards the bedroom.
I walked towards Boss trying to tear my gaze away from the syringe, "What happened," I asked trying to keep my cool.
"Blu needed to sleep so we gave her a dose of the sedative to knock her out. If this works we might just use this whenever she can't sleep, " he explained. I nodded my head in understanding because she really did need her sleep. Even through the makeup you can still see the bags under her eyes which only worries me. What could she be dreaming about that could make her this restless? She killed almost 50 men at the ball and she slept like a cute little kitten that night.
I decided to worry about things when she wakes up since there's no point on confronting her now. In the meantime I would take care of some personal business and head back here before dinner.
As I was approaching the front door Matt called my name, "Yo Rivers!"
I turned back around to face him, "What's up man?" He eyed me suspiciously, "Where you headed to," he asked knowingly. Of course Matt would ask where I'm going on such short notice, he was the one who caught me. Nobody else knew except for Matt and I don't even know if I plan on confessing to anyone anytime soon. I just don't think they would support me on my actions and make sure to keep a close eye on me so I never left again.
"Nowhere, just for a drive and all. Blu was knocked out with a sedative before I could go talk to her so I'm gonna try and find something to do in the meantime before dinner and such. You know, the usual, " I rambled on. I was actually a pretty good liar in my opinion but I never got past these guys.
"Oh, so if you're just going for a drive then you don't mind if I come with you, right? " He asked unconvinced. I didn't want him to come with me because Matt doesn't like the idea of me not telling the others about this. He doesn't like it when he catches someone in a secret.
"I just need to clear my head Matt," I patted him on the shoulder with a small smile.
He sighed disappointedly, "Don't go there Rivers," he pleaded. I looked at him in defeat but I also didn't want to be in this house doing nothing.
"Matt I'm gonna go, I'll be back before dinner dude don't worry," I assured him as I made my way out. He never told anyone about what I'm doing, he always thought it wasn't his place to discuss other's business. I respected that about him, he's my brother and he understands but he just doesn't like lying.
I pulled into the alleyway of old abandoned apartment buildings. Though these weren't just old apartment buildings, oh no, it's what's underground that matters. I opened the hollow metal door and continued to follow the chants and screams of men and women.
I walked down the dark stairs and came face to face with the underground fight club just how I left it. Yes, I fight down here. And I always come here whenever we stop in New Hampshire.
I made my way towards the crowd of people and watched as two men were going at each other, the big man obviously straddling the other and punching the life out of him with blood spraying everywhere. A loud crack was heard throughout the room and that only made the crowd road louder.
I chuckled as the big man yelled throughout the crowd, "Who's next?"
"Me."
The heads turned my way as I set down my leather jacket and took off my shirt as I went into the ring. The big man laughed in my face and got into his stance, "too easy."
