YURI

"How did this happen?" I asked swimming to Otabek. He was still staring at me in shock.

"What happened to you? I left and-" Otabek scowled drawing his brows together in thought.

"W-well I saw something at the dock and sort of fell in and drowned. Victor saved me." I smiled to myself.

"Victor! We need to find him!" I gasped.

"Victor?" Otabek scrunched his face in confusion.

"What the hell happened to Victor?" Yurio spoke up.

His tone was angry, but his eyes were worried.

"He went hunting and he never came back. This siren said he was walking with a new crowd?" Minami cocked his head to the side trying to remember Lilia's words.

"What siren?" Yurio growled.

"Lilia." I stated. That got a reaction from Yurio.
He cursed as he gripped his hands in his hair.

"Who is she?" I asked.

"She's the bitch that started all of this. She's the one that cursed us all." He growled baring his fangs.

"How can one woman do this?" Otabek asked gesturing to all of us.

"She's a witch. A sea witch." Minami chimed in.

"Look, as much as I would like to understand all of this, right now we need to find Victor. He could be in serious danger." I spoke up swimming to the center of our small group.

"Where would we even start to look?" Minami asked.

"Didn't you say that witch said something about him walking with a new crowd?" Otabek asked finally speaking up.

Three pairs of eyes turned to look at him.

"So?" Yurio cocked his head to the side to study the new siren.

Otabek gestured to his fin.

"I don't know about you, but I can't walk with this." He stated.

I felt my eyes round as I gasped.

"Otabek, you're a genius." I squealed.

"How? That doesn't help us very much when we are stuck down here." Yurio rolled his eyes.

"That's true, but you turned Otabek into a siren. You could go to Shipwreck Cove and perform the ritual. Then he'd be human again and could find Victor. Right?" Minami rubbed his temples.

"In theory. " Yurio snorted.

"It's the only chance we have. I don't have much time left, but there is still hope for you Otabek. We need to go to Shipwreck cove." I announced.

"Let's go and find that old hag." Yurio agreed.

OTABEK

I followed behind our group deep in thought. I still couldn't wrap my head around this idea that Yuri had been changed into a siren.

So much for protecting my family.  I knew I should have stayed home with him. This is my punishment for wanting vengeance.

"What's with the look?" Yurio asked.

"What look?" I scoffed.

"I may not be human, but I can tell when one is upset." Yurio rolled his eyes.

"I-uh it's just that I don't understand... weren't you and Victor born sirens? Don't you have a father and a family?" I asked.

"My father isn't of blood." Yurio shook his head. I stared at him waiting for him to continue.

"He isn't?" I frowned.

"No he was one of the first sirens. A human pirate lured to his damnation by that hag. He started our coven." Yurio snorted in amusement.

I guess there was still some humanity left in him even after he changed into a siren.

"So he took in sirens like you and this Victor?" I concluded.

Yurio nodded.

"Much like you said about humans, sirens aren't all bad."

Yurio sighed.

"Otabek I have something I need to tell you." Yurio began.

"What is it?" I asked pausing.

"Hey guys there's Shipwreck Cove. We made it!" Minami exclaimed.

"We'll talk later okay." I half smiled placing a hand on Yurio's shoulder. He slunk out of my grasp causing a scowl to furrow my brows.

What's wrong with him?

"Yeah, later." He murmured turning away.

I followed behind and gasped as we approached Shipwreck Cove. I had only worked with the pirates for a short time and had never been here. This was incredible.

Shipwreck cove was a lagoon. A bowl of sorts of cliffs and from the bottom of the ocean up to the top of the cliffs were stacks of destroyed ships that had been piled high here for centuries.

Light illuminated through cracks and windows of the ships. Lanterns hung on the decks and bridges connecting the ships together.

"Where do you think they took him?" Minami asked.

"From what I've heard the ritual takes place inside of a cave deep in the cliffs. We have to go through the ships." Yurio grunted.

"We need legs for that." Yuri pointed out.

"It's a good thing I'm here then." A deep voice spoke from behind us. We all spun in unison. An angry older looking siren glared at us with his arms folded across his broad chest. Silver hair dusted his older muscles.

"Who's he?" Minami asked hiding behind Yuri.

"My father." Yurio spoke up swimming between us and him.

"You can help us?" I asked sounding dubious.

"Lilia." He whispered her name. The way his tongue caressed her name didn't sit right with me. It was almost as if he was in love with this sea witch. I didn't know if I could trust him. I stared back at him. My face impassive as always.

"She gave me a gift." He smirked before his sharp eyes glared at Yurio.

"You two idiots should have come to me first." He growled explaining that he too could turn sirens back to humans for a short while.

"Hind sight." Yurio rolled his eyes folding his arms over his chest.

"You're lucky Pichit told me everything. Now, let's find Victor before it's too late." His voice lowered an octave as his face took on a deadly glower.

A-N

Ahh sorry it's so short and really late! I'm trying my best to go in a good direction here but seem to be struggling. I'm sorry. I'm doing my best!
