Sadie can't believe what she just heard. Is this true? She expected that Jaden only likes her but this? Definitely not.

"You love her?" Sadie asked again, not sure if she heard him right. Jaden nodded, still with an emotionless face and Sadie gave a satisfying smirk.

"Good."

Jaden's confession is an added bonus to her plan. Operation: Project Loki is still on the move as she plans to discuss it to Jaden later. The two went back to the table and her parents were surprised to see Sadie in a good mood.

"What?" She asked but no one asked or probed.

After their dinner, everyone immediately dispersed while she purposely stayed. Her dad went back to his office room, Daniel on the balcony, Jaden on who knows where, and her mother on her room with Sabina for an important lecture and Sadie was thankful enough she isn't the one who is going to get married.

Oh, who is she kidding? She will be willing to be the bride as long as she'll end up with Daniel.

"How hopeless can you be?" Sadie was startled at how Jaden suddenly came from behind her. She thought that she was the only one left on the table. Guess she was wrong.

"What're you doing here?"

"You've been staring at him for god knows how long." He confidently announced like it was a fact. Jaden sat beside her. "You better cut that out before Sabina sees you staring at her fiancé." Sadie flinched at the mere mention of that word.

"So what? It's not like they're already married." She reasoned out with a tone that says shut up, not really liking their topic anymore. Sadie has been unconsciously looking at Jaden. The balcony is just across the dining room that's why she can easily glance at him– or rather stare. She thought that everyone already left the room but she forgot about Jaden.

Sadie looked at him and regretted it. When did she knew the feeling of guilt? Her plan hasn't even started yet and here's Jaden unintentionally making her feel it.

"You know what? Let's just leave what you are thinking in this table right here and forget what it is okay?" Sadie stood up to go to a less uncomfortable person.

"When are you going to stop, Sadie?" She stopped walking. Instead of answering, Sadie just smirked then continued to go where she was going.

Until Daniel becomes mine again.

Daniel was taking in the beautiful city lights on a peaceful night. He was sitting comfortably while holding a glass of champagne in his hand and a bottle on the other. The mansion was just placed perfectly on top of a hill which gives it a tremendous view outside may it be night or day. He gave a brief but contented sigh while thinking of a few things he wanted to think.

"So, marriage huh?"

Daniel was startled for a moment then relaxed to see it's Sadie.

"Hello, Queen." He greeted then patted the vacant area beside him. She cringed deep inside upon mentioning the nickname he used to call her. Sadie wanted to ask him immediately so many things but instead, she just smiled back at him then willingly sat. They became quiet for a while, just looking at the view and the stars until Sadie can't hold it anymore.

"I didn't know you'd settle down so–" She wanted to find the safest word to say. "–early."

"Yeah, well. If you already found the one you love, then you'll take your chances to make that person yours." Okay, ouch. Daniel chuckled, showing his dreamy smile she loves. "You'll know when you fall in love."
