Y/N POV
My eyes slowly fluttered open to the sun piercing through my window. I had a slight headache but it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. I wiggled a bit to get more of the sheets over my body but it wouldn't budge. I turned over slightly to see dark hair under my sheets. I gently pulled the sheets down to reveal the person laying in my bed and I was completely caught off guard seeing Lani sleeping peacefully.

How the hell did this happen?

My heart started beating rapidly in my chest. I didn't really remember much of last night. Everything was slowly but surely coming back to me but most of it was just a blur. I pulled the sheet up to look at both our bodies and of course we were both completely naked.

"Shit", I whispered.

Lani let out a slight yawn and shifted a bit before slowly opening her eyes. I quickly shut my eyes and pretended like I was asleep before she fully woke up.

"Shit", she said under her breath.

I shifted a bit and acted like I had just woken up. When I looked over at Lani, she had this awkward look on her face like she didn't really know what to say.

"Um good morning?", I questioned not really knowing what to say.

"Good morning?", she said awkwardly.

I watched as Lani shamefully slid out of my bed and put on her underwear. Just watching her naked brought back memories of last night. Everything was starting to come back to me now and I can absolutely confirm that we slept together.

"I should um probably go", she said looking for what I assume is her dress.

"No you don't have to go", I said honestly. "Uh let me make you something to eat"

"You sure?"

"Yeah I'm positive", I said sitting up. "You can take a shower or something if you want and meeting me in the kitchen"

Lani slowly nodded her head and walked into my bedroom with an unsure look on her face. I'm not going to lie it was pretty awkward at first glance. I put on some underwear and walked into the kitchen to find something to make for breakfast. I whipped up some pancakes and I grabbed the carton of eggs and some bacon and put each in two separate pans. After about 15 minutes went by and Lani came out of my bedroom wearing a mixture of her clothes and mine. I think making Lani breakfast is the least that I could do. I didn't really know what to make of the entire situation but I do know that I'm completely screwed. I cheated on Dinah with someone she always accused me of cheating on her with. I never planned this.

"I shouldn't be saying this but you are so hot", I said staring at her chest.

"Thank you Y/N", she giggled.

"Here you go", I said resting the plate of food in front of her.

"Thanks", she said smiling.

We both just stood in the kitchen talking about random stuff dodging the elephant in the room. I couldn't help but watch her every single move because this entire moment just didn't seem real. I've felt like shit ever since Dinah told me about what happened between her and Lauren but that situation doesn't really justify my actions and I don't know what Dinah's gonna do once she finds out.

"We gonna talk about the elephant in the room?", she asked.

"I don't really want to"

"C'mon what's on your mind?", she asked me.

"How my wife is going to divorce me when I tell her what I did", I said honestly.

"It's my fault"

"It's not your fault", I spoke up. "I'm not going to lie to you and say that I didn't see this coming sooner"

"Right", she giggled.

"You can't tell anyone about this okay? I don't want Dinah finding out from anyone else but me"

"I won't. I promise"

I let out a huge sigh and grabbed the empty plates in front of us and threw them in the dishwasher before sitting next to Lani once again. She turned her bar stool in my direction and took my hand in hers before speaking up.

"For what it's worth? You were really really good last night", she said with a smile on her face.

"Well thanks that made me feel so much better", I said sarcastically.

"No I'm serious", she said resting her hand on my thighs.

"Really?"

"Yeah you were really gentle with me last night", she said slowly gliding her hand to my crotch. "I was impressed"

I watched as Lani licked her lips and leaned over before passionately pressing her lips against mine. They were so soft and she tasted like syrup from the pancakes. I shut my eyes closed and enjoyed our tongues battling with each other until she quickly pulled away breaking our embrace.

"Thanks", I said completely speechless.

"You're welcome", she laughed. "Anyways I gotta go so I'll text you later?"

"Yeah sure"

"Alright", she said tiptoeing to kiss my cheek.

I watched as she grabbed her things and walked out of my front door with her hips swaying from side to side. At this point I didn't know what to think except that I'm still completely screwed. Watching Lani walk out that door make me feel like shit but at the same time I didn't really regret much of what happened.

For a few minutes I thought maybe this is for the best. Lani listened to me when I mostly needed it and vice versa. I swear we could talk about so much random shit. She never wanted to chew my head off over small stuff and she treated me like an actual person. I do feel a bit of guilt but Lani made me feel things that I hadn't felt with Dinah in years.

*Ding dong*

I sighed and let go of my thoughts before running over to the front door. When I opened the door, my heart started beating out of my chest like it did when I saw Lani this morning. Seeing Dinah brought back the shitty feelings that I felt earlier and I now I officially know I'm not entirely ready to face the conversation that we're about to have.

"Hey Y/N", Dinah said awkwardly. "Can I come in?"

"I don't think you're gonna want to once I tell you what I did"

"What did you do?"

The complete look of worry on Dinah's face had so many feelings racing through my mind. I know that if I don't tell her what I did she'd just find out on her own and kill me but if I do tell her she'd still do the same. Either way there was no good ending.

"I cheated on you with Lani"
