Y/N POV
I slowly turned over to my side to look at the time. It was 6:30 am and I just wanted to get dressed at leave before Dinah woke up. I looked over at Dinah to see that she was still sleeping so I quietly slipped out of our bed trying not to make a sound.

I quickly went into the closet and grabbed some clothes, shoes, my wallet and my phone. I walked downstairs and took a shower in the guest bathroom. Chris was already dressed when I came downstairs so I took my time. After I was done, I put on my underwear and walked into the guest bedroom where Chris was and put on the rest of my clothes.

"Please tell me why you took a bath and you're down here getting dressed down here?", he asked me intriguingly.

"Because I knew if I did it upstairs Dinah would wake up and I don't need that", I said honestly.

"Why not sis?"

"I know for a fact that she's still mad about last night and I don't want to have a big argument and stress her out"

"True but don't you think you're making it worse but ignoring her?"

"Maybe but you're looking at the future Chris and I'm living in the now. So let's go you ready?"

"Yeah but can I make breakfast really quick?", Chris asked me.

"No time we'll have to stop for something"

"Alright"

I got my things for work and followed behind Chris as I locked the front door and walked to my car. The drive to work was pretty short except the stop we had to make for food but other than that we got to work on time.

As I walked in the building, I was greeted as usual by my employees. Chris made his way to his office and I walked to mine. Before I walked into, I was greeted by Shay who stood handing me a cup of coffee.

"Good morning Y/N", she said smiling and following me as I walked into my office.

"Good morning", I said sitting at my desk as she closed the door behind her.

"What are you doing tomorrow night?", she asked sitting in the chair in front of me.

"What day is tomorrow?", I asked.

"Friday"

"Well I father in law's house but I don't think that's happening so I'm not doing anything", I said taking a sip of my coffee.

"Okay good but that's where you're wrong"

"Really? What am I doing then?", I said taking another sip of coffee.

"You're throwing a party tomorrow"

"Excuse me?", I said almost choking.

"Well since Christmas is getting closer. Your coworkers decided that since you're the boss that you are supposed to throw a Christmas party"

"Why didn't you tell me this earlier?"

"I was just told about it but don't worry I handled everything"

"Seriously?"

"Yeah I booked caterers, bartenders, a dj, decorators, hostesses and invited the whole building"

"Thank you Shay. You're the best", I said with the biggest smile on my face.

"No thank you. I actually need this party"

"Why? What's going on?"

"My girlfriend recently broke up", she said blatantly.

"Wait. You're gay?", I said shockingly.
