"Come on, come on," I muttered, cellphone held close to my ear, "Pick up, pick up."

After the assembly, and after he was publicly denounced from Prince, I couldn't find Shownu. It was difficult to track him down. He wasn't by our tree, nor was he in his classroom. I worried, unsure where Shownu was.

I dialed the phone again, hoping Shownu would pick up this time.

My heels clicked as I hurried along the halls, searching.

Eventually, I stopped at a classroom. It was the same one Shownu took me after I was groped by that old guy. I turned the knob, heart racing, and threw open the door.

I let out a sigh of relief when I saw Shownu inside.

He was sitting in a windowsill, staring blankly outside.

"Shownu!" I yelled.

He looked surprised that I was there, standing up to face me.

"Yuri..." He muttered, speechlessly, "I thought..."

I ran to him, wrapping Shownu into a tight hug. I knew he needed comfort after the embarrassment of the day. Shownu hugged me back tightly, and I could hear him let out a sigh of relief.

"I thought you were going to leave me," Shownu muttered.

I was shocked, pulling away from the hug.

"What? Why?" I asked.

He averted eye contact, staring off into the distance, "Because... that guy, he has all the money in Korea," he turned his gaze back to me, "He made you Princess. I couldn't even make you Princess. I just thought..."

"Of course I would never leave you," I replied softly, placing my hand on Shownu's cheek. He looked morose, but leaned into my touch, "I love you, Shownu."

Shownu's facial expression melted into one of utter awe. I was surprised, too.

We talked about staying together forever all the time. But neither of us said anything about love before.

This was my first 'I love you.'

"I... love you too," Shownu replied, a look of astonishment on his face. Maybe it's because this is the first time he realized it. We're not just teens in puppy love, we truly love each other.

Shownu reached out, placing a hand on my neck. His fingertips skimmed up to my cheek. He stared down at my lips.

"Say it again," he murmured.

"I love you," I replied, more clearly this time.

He smirked, pulling the bow tie free from my neck. He leaned in slowly when it fell to the floor. I closed my eyes, waiting for him to kiss me. Shownu's lips sailed right past my lips and onto my neck. He kissed up and down my neck before latching on. I gripped onto his shoulders, closing my eyes again.

Shownu pulled away, admiring my neck.

"I'm glad I can finally leave marks now," he muttered.

"Marks?" I asked, reaching up and touching where he had kissed. The skin was raised where he left s hickey.

I was going to say something else when Shownu sealed my lips with a kiss.

Shownu and I walked home, hand in hand. We eventually left the classroom. But by this point, the school was all but empty.

He and I finally had a moment to be peaceful.

"Are you sure you want to walk me home?" I asked him, "It's a long walk."

Shownu nodded quickly.

I smiled as we walked together along the street.

"So, you refused the position?" Shownu asked.

I nodded, "Yeah, I don't want to be Princess. Someone else can take the job. I'm sure Hyeri or Jennie would love it."

Shownu chuckled, "Yeah, probably."

An older woman that passed the two of us on the street smiled when she saw us at first, admiring a cute couple. But the smile fell when she looked at my neck. She shook her head at us, hurrying away.

'Oh, right, that...' I thought.

I paused, tying the bow tie around my neck in order to cover the hickey.

Shownu watched me, "Sorry about that..." he muttered.

"It's okay," I laughed it off, "Some people are just judgemental."

I grabbed a hold of Shownu's hand again, and we continued walking along to my house.

"Let's go on another weekend getaway soon," Shownu said out of the blue, "I feel like I need to get away from it all again. And my parents are going to be pissed when they figure out I've been denounced from Prince..." he let out a sigh before chuckling, "I think I'll need to go into hiding!"

'They'll be angry?' I wondered, face falling.

It's not Shownu's fault that the Dean was willing to give Wonho the position of Prince.

"Well..." I muttered, brainstorming for a moment.

Should Shownu lie to his parents? It would be better than him getting in trouble. They might ship him off to America to teach him a lesson if we don't curb their anger.

"Say you stepped down!" I said, a figurative light bulb going off in my head, "Say you're focusing on homework and... business, or something! Then they can't be mad."

Shownu thought about it for a moment before nodding.

"Okay, good idea," he said, "Now that I'm not Prince, I can start working as my father's right hand man."

"Yeah!" I smiled, "See? Every bad situation has a bright side to it."

We stopped outside of my house, Shownu turned to face me.

"I'll walk you to the door," he said nonchalantly.

"Huh?" I asked, eyes wide, "N-no, it's fine. If you do that, my parents might..."

But, then again, why panic? If Shownu and I are dating publicly at the school, I suppose I could let him meet my parents.

What if they get mad, though? We've been dating so long without my telling them.

Before I could say much else, Shownu opened the gate to my house and walked up to the door. I followed quickly after him, catching up just as he knocked on the door.

I stood at Shownu's side, heart racing, as we waited for someone to answer the door.

After a moment, the house door swung open. My mother stood at the threshold, gloves on her hands for washing the dishes.

"Oh..." she said, shocked to see the handsome man standing at my side.

Shownu bowed to my mom, introducing himself, "Hello Mrs. Kwon. I'm Sohn Shownu, Yuri's boyfriend."

I gasped, looking at Shownu, and then to my mothers. I was surprised he was so straightforward with her.

My mom's eyes widened. I half-expected her to be mad, but the shock quickly turned into a smile.

"Yuri, you have a boyfriend?!" My mom asked me excitedly, "And such a handsome one, too?"

I shrugged, unsure what to say.

"Come in, we're having sundubu-jjigae for dinner," My mom said, waving us into the house, "There's always room for more."

Shownu and I exchanged glances for a moment. We were both surprised this went to well. He smiled at me first, and then I smiled back.

"Hurry, before the food gets cold!"
