Sick and tired of how hot all of the Monsta X members are. SMDH

That night, Wonho and I silently went to our own bedrooms to sleep. He was obviously still angry about me committing a felony.

'I need to do something with this stuff,' I thought, staring at the stack of paperwork.

The medical documents, the blackmail Polaroids, the notes about Harin's love child... they all need to be put somewhere safe. But where?

I let out a sigh, shoving the documents back into my bedside drawer.

"There's no use worrying about it right now," I told myself. Wonho already knew about my secret stash of information.

In the future, I'd need a better hiding places for my things.

'I can't believe he went through my stuff.'

The thought still pissed me off. Wonho had no right to go through my personal things. I never went through his... Well, except for that one time when I read his diary. But that was it! And I didn't make it that far into his diary.

I knew that stockpiling blackmail was wrong, and potentially dangerous, but it had to be done.

So far, my only blackmail involved Harin's child. But it was useless without evidence. Our chances of finding her child were very low, but not zero. So I wasn't going to give up just yet.

In the meantime, I needed to focus on finding dirt on the Sohn's.

'I need to work double time, because I only have a week.'

Hopefully one week would be enough time.

The next morning I woke up still feeling conflicted. Last time Wonho and I got into a fight (because I thought I had a one-night-stand with a stranger), I ran off to stay with Minhyuk. Sadly, that wasn't an option now. When Wonho and I fought the second time (about his mom), he ran off to stay at a hotel for a couple of days.

It was possible that he did run off again. But if not, then we'd both have to face this conflict head-on. It was the healthiest thing to do. If we were going to make this relationship work, then we couldn't keep running away from our problems.

I got out of bed and slowly trudged into the living room. To my surprise, my fiancé hadn't disappeared.

Wonho was already up and playing with Monbebe. He pet the bunny on the head a couple of times before putting her back in her house.

"H-hey..." I said, scratching the back of my head.

"Hi," Wonho replied monotonously. He didn't even make eye contact with me, I tried not to take offense to that.

He brushed past me into the kitchen, grabbing his giant tub of whey protein from the top shelf. In the meantime, I took a moment to greet Monbebe myself. She was up to her usual routine, napping. The sound of Wonho shaking up a tumbler of protein and water filled the room.

'If only I was a rabbit, my life would be so much simpler.'

After I decided I spent too long staring at Monbebe, I focused my attention back to my morning routine.

While tentatively entering the kitchen I tried think of something to say, anything to break the awkward silence.

'Don't even say anything, wait for him to talk.'

I took a deep breath before going to the coffee machine. Ascentmindedly, I went through the motions of making coffee. Only after completing the process did I realize that I forgot to add espresso grounds to the portafilter. So I was left with a shot of hot water, not espresso.
