Two Year Later...
I sat in a familiar salon chair. But this time no bleach would be assaulting my hair. Instead my tresses were manipulated by curling irons and rollers. The air still freshly smelled of aerosol spray and argon oil.
"Girl I can not believe that you are actually getting married."
I tried to hold in my smile, "Yeah. Me neither."
Minhyuk was busy creating goddess waves out of my now naturally dark hair. He was more nervous than I was, even giddy. Not so much because it was his best friend's wedding, but because he'd be debuting his first ever wedding dress today.
That's right, read that again.
Minhyuk designed my wedding dress.
I still couldn't believe that it was happening. After initially refusing to show up to our wedding, Minhyuk eventually changed his mind. And he agreed to be my best man, on the condition that he let me design my dress.
A lot happened in the last year, and a lot changed.
Wonho and I both decided to cut ties with our parents.
My mom and dad were too toxic. And his father was far too selfish. So selfish, in fact, that he was soon busted for tax evasion. As Wonho and I prepared for our wedding, he was still being tried for his crime, which seemed minimal compared to the many crimes that happened in our inner circle.
Two years ago, Wonho and I decided to officially move of the penthouse into the farm in his hometown.
We vowed to make it on our own, without any outside help. (Save for the 10 million USD Wonho made from selling the Sweptail and 1 million I made from selling the Birkin.) And that money made us extremely comfortable. But it was hard to adjust to farm life.
Wonho enjoyed being a farmer for the time being. Really he was waiting to figure out what his dreams are.
Wonho made an amazing farmer. His bodybuilding made the farm work a breeze. Plus he looked super hot doing it. Eventually he did get around to finding a friend for Monbebe, Wenee. And we thought they were both girls.
THOUGHT.
Soon after introducing the two, our couple of bunnies turned into a gaggle. The sheer amount of rabbits eventually made the farm work an impossible task.
It made for perfect timing. Because I was getting sick of not living down the street from a coffee shop.
A day after deciding to give up on farming, we were contacted by Shownu.
Shownu explained needed someone to take over as CEO of Elite Entertainment. And he thought Wonho would be the perfect candidate (considering that he used to work there too).
Of course Wonho accepted.
I was happy to hear that Elite Entertainment was planning on debuting a boy group and a girl group. Byeongwan, Jun and their friends were taken on as trainees. And I await their debut with bated breath. Lisa and Rose were also set to debut, the search for fellow bandmates becoming even more rigorous.
In the meantime, I ended up going to college. But not at the college that I was unfairly accepted into. Instead I joined a college based on merit, even though it wasn't nearly as nice as Seoul National University.
Being the center of a public scandal had its benefits. It made me famous. And before even graduating, I took on a job as a television correspondent.
Just like that, I had found me new passion: journalism.
Wonho's mother and stepmother got a divorce. As it turns out, Seolhyun's earring did fall off because of sexual activity. But now with Wonho. It was with his father. Apparently Seolhyun was giving Mr. Lee that GwakGwak3000 in Wonho's office, and Mrs. Lee found out.
