The sun beat down on me, and I shrugged out of my suit jacket. It was too hot for the formal wear, and the trial was finally over (in more way than one). The trial of my personal life and the trial of Mr. Sohn was finally lover.

Now I could find my closure.

And my closure began and ended with Wonho. I just needed to find him.

After a month of no contact, this would be a difficult task. Wonho could be anywhere. He could be sitting on a beach in Barbados or drinking hipster coffee somewhere in New York. But it was a challenge that I was willing to accept and overcome.

The only person who could help me ascertain Wonho's location was his own father.

So I found my way to the Lee estate, standing outside of the sprawling mansion in no time. Security and the staff recognized me instantly, letting me into the exclusive residence. I was led to Mr. Lee's home office, where he was busy staring out a window with a glass of scotch in hand.

"Master Lee, you have a visitor," the butler announced.

Mr. Lee turned. He wasn't expecting a visitor, giving me a strange look. "What are you doing here?" Clearly he was not pleased by my presence.

"I'm looking for Wonho," I replied, not trying to sound too exacerbated..

"You wouldn't be the only one," he muttered. Mr. Lee downed the glass of scotch, looking me up and down. "The boy didn't tell you? I thought he'd at least inform his fiancé about where he was running off too."

'He doesn't know?'

I wasn't going to be the first to tell Mr. Lee that the engagement was called off. So I didn't, and I certainly wasn't going to bring it up now.

"Actually," Mr. Lee raised a skeptical brow, "I thought he ran away with you."

The assertion was accusatory. Wonho's father narrowed his eyes at me, waiting for some confession from me. But I was just as clueless as he was.

I pursed my lips, shaking my head. "I'm here because I hoped you'd be able to help me." I replied.

"Well I'm sorry, I can't help you." He cut off the conversation, refilling his glass of scotch and staring out the window once again.

'Worst father ever,' I thought, glaring at him momentarily.

His son was missing, and yet Mr. Lee couldn't be bothered. He wasn't urgent to look for him whatsoever.

This left me to my own devices to find Wonho. Which was unfortunate, because I am directionally challenged.

I skulked to the exit, passing many maids and butlers on the way out. Accidentally I bumped into someone, bowing and apologize.

"I'm sor-"

The butler took my hand and slyly gave me a piece of paper. I tried to act natural, but couldn't help staring after him.

'What was that about?'

For a moment, I thought that someone had just slipped me their phone number. But once I unrolled it, I realized that it was not the case.

The note read: Meet me out front in five minutes.

'That's not suspicious at all,' I smiled.

For a moment I was hesitant.

The last time that I met someone at a location, I was kidnapped. My conscience and instincts told me to be cautious, look for Wonho another way.
