David's pov
Liza crawled into my grip as we waited the three minutes that would tell us if our life is going to change for the better or not.
We've been trying for a baby for two years, we got married three years ago and now we want a baby to complete our family but it's a lot more difficult than we hoped.

The timer went off and Liza pressed stop on her phone. "You ready" I asked, she nodded and walked into the bathroom picking up the test, not looking at it yet. "Okay on three" I said "one, two three". She flipped over the test.
Negative.
Liza threw the test across the room and broke down into my chest "why am I so useless" she said "Liza, you're not please don't say that it's just not the right time" I said to her, she cried more "baby" I said kissing her head "don't call me that" she said, getting up out of my grip and walking away "I'm sorry, Liza come back" I said to her, but she kept walking, I let her have some space since I knew this was crushing her. It hurt me a little but not as much as it was effecting Liza. She wants this so unbelievably badly and since we've been trying for two years it's really playing on her. I heard the front door open and then close, I ran to the window and looked out to see Liza getting in her car. I texted her a couple times and left them for her when she was ready. I picked up the test she threw and looked at it once more. Still negative. I threw it in the trash can and crashed on my bed.

My phone started ringing, I immediately picked it up. Kristen. "Hi Kristen , is Liza with you?" I asked immediately "yeah, she's crashed on my couch she came over and was crying so bad but she wouldn't tell my why she just said she couldn't be at yours what's going on?" Kristen asked "well basically we've been trying to have a baby for like two years and we took a test today and it came back negative and it messed with her a bit and then I called her 'baby' and she lost it" I explained "Aw, you can come over if you want" she said "okay I'm on my way" I said grabbing my phone.

I got in the Tesla and drove to Kristen and Scotty's house, as soon as I got there, she opened up the door and let me in, Liza was still asleep on kristen's couch. She had tear stains on her cheeks but she looked so cute and perfect. "She looks so broken" I said immediately feeling sad for my baby. "She's gonna be okay though, she's got you and you're both so perfect for each other" Kristen said, making me smile "thanks, it means a lot" I replied to her. "You think I should wake her up?" I asked "yeah" Kristen replied. I walked over to liza and kissed her head, sitting next to her as she woke up. "You Okay?" I asked her, she nodded and wrapped her arms around my neck "I'm so sorry for being an asshole I just want a baby so bad" she said to me "I know, and we will have a whole army of babies one day but we have to stick together. I love you" I said to her "I love you too and I'm so sorry" she replied, I kissed her and pulled her into a hug again "pda, you're gross" Kristen Laughed . I rolled my eyes and me and Liza soon left.
When we got home we crashed on the couch. "What about ivf?" Liza asked, a little out of the blue "we could try it, we have the money and it could never hurt to try" I said, she nodded "whatever makes you happy babe" I said smiling "I love you way too much" she said. "Ditto" I replied.
