Drink

David's pov
"Hey David" Liza said through FaceTime, she sounded and looked pretty drunk "Liza have you been drinking?" I asked "yep" she said "look there's everyone" she said shaking the camera around and showing my the backs of Kristen, Mariah, Corinna, Carly and Erin. "Be careful Liza" I said to her " I am being careful, I made sure to turn down every guy who hit on me at the bar, im not making mistakes" she replied still slurring her words. It hurt a little when she said people were hitting on her even though we're not together or anything. "What are you doing?" She asked "editing" I replied "David you're boring you need to come out and have fun" she said to me "I'm good" I replied "please just come out" she said to me "now?" I asked "yeah pleaseeee" she said, I don't know if it was liza or the fact I wasn't into anyone hitting on her but I decided to go. "Okay I'll come" I said "really!?" She asked "yeah I'll meet you in ten. Text me where you are" I said "okay see you" she said smiling "see you" I replied.
I walked into my closet and changed out of my shorts and T-shirt into a pair of jeans and a white shirt. I grabbed some money, my phone and my keys and got into my Tesla.

"Heyyy!" Liza said hugging me as I came over "hi" I replied hugging her back "Dave, what are you doing here?" Corinna asked "Liza told me to come" I replied "ooo this is going to be fun, let's get him drunk" Corinna said, I shrugged and we went to a bar.
We sat down at the bar and I got everyone drinks, only getting myself some redbull since I know I can't handle drink "David have something to get you drunk" Liza said taking a drink of her drink "no thanks" I replied "why, you need to let loose" she replied "okay" I said ordering some beer. "Good now drink" she said, I held it to my lips but In the drunk state she was in, she looked away and I poured it down into a plant she looked back at me "feel good?" She asked "yeah" I replied smiling, a guy came and sat next to her "can i buy a pretty girl a drink?" He asked "yeah" she replied smiling, he got them some shots and they took them "you wanna kiss?" Liza asked, he nodded and they sat practically making out, which just about broke me. "I'm going to the bathroom" I said to the others, I saw them all look at liza kissing some dude and then at each other and then at me "I don't really care" I said shrugging and walking off. I got into the bathroom and sat against the wall for a couple minutes, the guy came in who kissed Liza after a while and sat down next to me "bro, you good? Go out there and find someone I just got a fire kiss and I think it's going to go somewhere. She is a sexy ass bitch" he said "she's not some random bitch you can fuck around with" I said getting up walking out "I'm going home" I said to the girls before walking out. I went to the Tesla and drove home. I took off the clothes I had on and changed back into what I was wearing before and started editing again. "Where've you been?" Natalie asked "no where" I replied "David I know you've been somewhere" she said "it's none of your fucking business" I replied "fine" she said going back into her room. I walked to the fridge and grabbed a beer, I knew I couldn't handle drink but I didn't care, I just lost the love of my life to some drunk douchebag. "I chugged it, then another and another until twelve  empty coors light cans were spread around my floor since it was just what I had in for the boys. I started to drift in and out of consciousness, I felt myself getting colder and I felt like I couldn't breathe. Before long I couldn't feel anything at all.

Liza's pov
"Uh yeah just up there" I told the driver. I felt so bad for David, I didn't mean to kiss that guy, I was drunk and it was such a big mistake "that's $7 please" The cab driver said "I handed him a ten dollar bill and told him to keep the change before going into David's, before I left the bar I drank a fair amount of water and had some food so I felt less drunk now. I opened the door using the spare key I had and pushed open the door, I walked into David's living room to see he was passed out on the sofa surrounded by empty cans. His skin was blue and he was completely out "no, David, no" I said "Natalie!" I shouted "yeah, Liza?" She asked "yeah, David's done something" I shouted, she came out and saw him lying there "call 911" I said, she grabbed her phone and did it immediately "yeah he's 23 and he's drank 12 cans of coors light , he's unconscious and really cold, his skin is almost blue" she said down the phone, they told her they were sending an ambulance right away. "Please be okay" I said holding onto his hand "this is all my fault" I said "how?" Natalie asked "I invited him to the bar and he saw me kiss some other guy whilst I was drunk and he left and now look at him" I said, my eyes filling "I'm sure he'll be okay" Natalie said me, the ambulance then arrived and he was loaded into it, I sat at his feet as the paramedics gave him oxygen. "He has alcohol poisoning, this could be extremely dangerous he might not make it" one paramedic said to the other making me start crying. I can't loose my best friend and i can't loose him because of me. "Are you okay miss?" One of the paramedics asked "is he going to make it?" I asked "we aren't sure, he has pretty bad alcohol poisoning, at the hospital they are going to have to put him on a drip and try to open up his airways, he is unconscious now but he could slip into a coma which he may not wake up from, we will do our best for mr Dobrik but sometimes these things can't be fixed" he said, I nodded holding back the tears "would you ever describe mr Dobrik as an alcoholic?" The paramedic asked "no, never. He never drinks and he knows his limits" I said "do you know why he would do this?" They asked "yeah but it's really complicated" I replied "okay, well they may ask you in the hospital but we don't need to know" he said to me, I nodded and looked back at David, lying lifeless with aluminum blankets wrapped around him and a oxygen mask over his face. I caused this.

"Could you just wait outside for a moment" the doctor asked me as David was being wheeled into the room, I nodded and stood outside, I picked up my phone and called Jason. He was probably asleep or looking after Wyatt and Charley but I need him, I know David would want him to be here. "Hey Liza what's up its 3Am?" He said, picking up the call "it's David, please come to the LA general I need someone" I said "of course, I'll be ten minutes, it's okay Liza" He said "thank you" I said emptiness in my voice "any time" he replied, I hung up and looked through the glass at David, they were putting things in his arms, down his throat and hooking him up to a million machines. Why did I have to do that to him, why did I hurt him so much that he could have killed himself. I love him and I can't live without him and if he dies I have no clue what I'm going to do.
"What happened?" Jason asked jogging over to me "it was my fault" I said breaking down "what? Liza take a breath and explain" Jason asked me "okay so I invited David out with me and some of the girls and he came out and I was pretty drunk and I kissed some other guy and he left and he drank twelve cans of beer in an hour and now he's here and he might not make it" I said still sobbing "Liza that's not your fault" Jason said hugging me "would it of happened if I didn't kiss some guy?" I asked "you didn't know that was going to happen" he said "if he dies I won't be able to live and if he survives he's going to hate me" I said "he won't hate you, he loves you more than anything and he will forgive you" Jason said, I turned to the window and looked at him again. He still had doctors fussing round him and he was still unconscious. After another couple minutes the doctor came out to us "he still is stable and the chances of him making it are getting higher which is good, you should go talk to him, he can hear what you're saying it it will help" the doctor said. Jason signalled for me to go in first. I went in and sat down beside him starting to cry again "I'm so sorry, I'm sorry I did this to you, I never wanted any of this to happen and I'm such an asshole and please wake up, I love you more than anything in the world, I can't loose you" I said to him. I kept talking to him for hours, gabbie came in and we talked more but he stayed the same "Hey if it's okay I'm going to go home" Jason said as it got to 3pm, I'd been there for 12 Hours and he was still the same but I wasn't leaving his side "yeah okay" I replied "you should too, get some sleep and food" Jason said to me "I couldn't, I can't leave him" I replied "okay, stay safe liza, look after yourself, David isn't going to want you to be all upset and tired and hungry when he wakes up" he said, I nodded emotionlessly and he left. "Baby please I need you" i said gripping his hand again. He still stayed the same.

3.00am. I've been here next to David for a whole day now, I haven't slept, I haven't eaten and I haven't had a thought that isn't about David. I looked over at him once more and glanced away again before I realised his eyelids were fluttering "david?" I said getting my hopes up, he opened his eyes and immediately started choking and coughing over the tube he had in his mouth that was helping him breathe, I pressed the button to call the doctors immediately and they came and quickly took the tube out of David's mouth, they checked him over and hooked him up to even more monitors before they left again "David I'm so sorry" I said to him crying yet again "it's okay, I was stupid I shouldn't have done that to myself" he replied "I shouldn't have done that to you, I knew it would hurt you but I still did it" I said to him, he nodded "I love you David more than anything" I said to him "I love you too" he replied smiling "I swear you're my one and only, that guy was a bad kisser compared to you anyways" I said smiling, making David laugh a little.
"I'm never drinking again" David said,
I laughed and agreed "me neither".
