Diza oneshots

My liza

David's pov
I was sitting on my couch editing when I heard a knock on the door. It was super loud and super fast and whoever it was sounded like they were in trouble. I cautiously got up and walked to the door opening it to reveal Liza. She had tear stained cheeks, her hair was a mess and she had a super worried and scared look on her face, she was still beautiful though and even though we're not together I still think it every day.
I haven't seen Liza in two years. We were best friends for a year and then she started getting lots of big jobs and she would leave America for months at a time so we never got to see each other, then she got a new boyfriend and started ignoring me all the time and we just faded away from each other. It was pretty hard but it made me more focused on work and even though all of the guys say I put too much effort into work it just helps me forget about her.
"Liza?" I questioned, opening out my arms for her, she collapsed into them and started crying and fell into my grip. "What's wrong?" I asked, she shook her head and continued crying, I pulled her inside and shut the door, I took her over to the couch and we sat down, she was still crying on top of me but I knew just to comfort her and not yet ask questions. "I'm sorry for coming here David it's just" she said, before she could finish she started crying again. "It's okay Liza, you can tell me" I told her "it's James he" she started but couldn't finish again "if he hurt you I'll fuck him up Liza" I said to her, my protective side coming out considering I still obviously love her so much "he was abusive and he made me do things I didn't want to do and now I'm ruined and he's ruined me" she said "Shh, you're not Liza, you're perfect and you can start again, he's in the past" I told her. She nodded and dried her eyes "he hurt me so much David" she said, her head was rested on my chest and I ran my fingers through her messy curls "you were right about him, you told me and I didn't listen. David I'm so sorry I'm the worst person in the world" she said "Liza, I didn't say it to be right I wanted you to be safe and let's forget about it, we're here now, together and that's what matters" I said to her. She nodded "David I'm scared that when he gets back from work he's gonna come and find me, he's going to be so pissed" Liza said "if he comes anywhere near you I'll fucking kill him, he's not getting my girl" I said "shit is that too soon?" I asked after I said it realising I said 'my girl'. "It's okay" she said smiling a little "I haven't been shown love for a long time so it was a good feeling" she said. I pulled her tighter into a hug. Nobody will hurt my Liza ever again.
