David's pov
"Liza, shh it's okay" I said to Liza who had just broke down on my shoulder, I rubbed her back and kissed her head as she cried. "Babe it's okay, you'll feel better soon I promise" I told her. Liza's anxiety has been really bad recently and it's been getting to her pretty bad but we're working on it. "Everything is just breaking me down and it's like the whole weight of the world is on my shoulders and I don't know how to deal with it" she cried "I know baby but I'm here to help you" I said to her "I know but I feel like if I open up, I'll bring you down and I'm just not me" she said into my shoulder "it's going to get better, I love you" I told her. She cried again "I wish you didn't because then I wouldn't feel like I'm a paperweight" she said "Liza stop, you're perfect and of course I worry about you because you're my best friend and my favorite person on the world and my girlfriend as well as the fact you aren't doing too good but I want to be by your side and I want to take away the stupid pain that you're feeling and go through it with you" I said to her. "How do I get better?" She asked "I don't know but we'll figure it out somehow" I said to her "I just don't want to be me anymore dave, the only thing I like about myself in my life is you" she said "Liza, you may not think it but I promise you're beautiful inside and out, you're funny, you are the best girlfriend and friend in the world and you're so much more than your thoughts about yourself" i said to her making more tears slip down her cheeks "I just can't see that" she said, I took her hand and led her to the mirror in the bathroom. I stood in front of it and pulled her in too. "What do you see?" I asked her "the most perfect sensitive sweet boy in the world and a girl that absolutely doesn't deserve him" she said "nope, it's the most beautiful girl in the world, and she doesn't realise but she deserves the world and more" I said to her she smiled. I love that smile, her smile. "You're going to get better" I said resting my head against hers "I'm going to get better" she repeated before kissing me. She's going to get better.
