Natalie

Natalie's pov
"no way!" my friend, Jenna said laughing "yes way it was hilarious" I replied "as if that even happened" Sara laughed in reply "it did it was hilarious" I replied, I was interrupted by someone calling me. Ilya? He never calls. "One sec I gotta take this" I said standing up and walking to where it was quieter "hello?" I asked confused at why he was calling me "hey Nat" he replied "any reason you called me?" I asked "yeah, look I know you're out with your friends and stuff but David's really struggling" Ilya replied "of course he is he just broke up with Liza" I replied "I know but he's like really crying and shit" Ilya replied "fine, I'll check on him" I said rolling my eyes "okay thanks bye" he replied "bye" I replied, of course I care about David and I know he's having a hard time going through breaking up with Liza but this is one night out with my friends and of course this has to ruin it "I have to go check on David but I'll be back in a while" I said to my friends grabbing me bag "Natalie are you for real, is he four?" Sara asked, I shrugged and started walking "see you later" Jenna said " see you" I replied.

I pulled up to David's and I let myself in using my key "David" I called through the house, I walked to his room and pushed open the door, there were tissues scattered in his bed but he quickly wiped his eyes with his sleeve hoping I wouldn't see it "David are you good?" I asked him "yeah I'm fine" he replied, he still sounded pretty sad "look I know you're really upset and I know it's super tougher to go through but you will come out of it eventually, "you don't understand at all, she is literally the love of my life and I don't know how the fuck I'm going to live without her" he said "don't be dramatic she's still your best friend" I said to him, he hung his head "okay I'm going back out with my friends please don't sulk all night" I said to him, I threw him some more tissues "bye" he said, as he opened the tissues "bye" I replied grabbing my purse and going back out.

David's pov
That didn't help at all, it just made me embarrassed that Natalie saw me crying. I don't honestly know what to do without liza, I need her the most right now, usually if I'm sad about something I call her to tell her why I'm sad and she comes over with ice cream and we cuddle or I would do the same for her but now we don't have each other like that anymore.
A knock on the door pulled me out of my thoughts, it's probably just Natalie telling me she forgot her keys, I opened the door to see liza standing there, she looked the same as me, she had a hoodie on, mine to be precise, and she had the hood pulled over her messy hair, her eyes had dark circles round them and were a little red, she had her sleeves pulled down over her hands and she had a bag, filled with ice cream, I smiled as I saw her "I know were trying to have some alone time but I can't get through stuff without you so I guess we could try and get through it together, but as best friends" she said shrugging "I'd love that" I replied stepping out of the way of the door and letting her in, we went to my room and sat on my bed watching a movie as we ate the ice cream, we talked all night long and Liza ended up sleeping over.
I woke up in the morning, and rolled over to see liza asleep on the beanbag in my room with a blanket over her, I'm still so so in love with this girl. She looked so adorable and tiny wrapped in the blanket on my giant bean bag, I'm really going to miss this girl but at least I get to have her as my best friend.
