Goosepaw was thrilled when the blisters left his skin.
He was cured! And while the deaths of Crescentclaw and Bluesong were sad, at least the apprentice wasn't meeting the same fate.
I can live another day! he thought happily, admiring his blister-free skin.
:STIFF THIRD PERSON MODE HAS ENTERED THE CHAT:
Pantherstar was pacing. She was not used to her new information.
Well, since I know who they are... might as well stop this chaos. The leader took a deep breath. "All cats old enough to catch their own prey gather beneath the Hightree for a clan meeting!" she yowled, watching as everybody joined together.
"So, Viperfang," The she-cat meowed casually, turning towards her warrior. "Care to tell us where your loyalty lies?"
"No really, no," he answered nonchalantly, but a huge, almost psychotic grin reached his face when Pantherstar snorted. "May StarClan grant you will eternal unrest, and the death of all those you hold dear."
The Lead Traitor turned tail and vanished silently, his white fur flashing as he disappeared. Pantherstar narrowed her eyes and hissed softly. Every cat turned and looked through the camp, combing every inch of it to find the tom.
Viperfang watched from the shadows, his eyes gleaming maliciously. He sneered at the Clan and growled very softly to a nearby traitor. They nodded discretely and paved a way for him to leave the confinement.
Good night, little ForestClan, and let your dreams be peppered with horrors, the StarClan supporter thought, and almost as if they could hear him, several cats shivered, staring fearfully at the spot he had vanished to. All the Good Guys in the clearing were left wondering if they were ever going to win as Viperfang's tail swished out the entrance.
You. Will. Pay. Beef up, ForestClan. You just took our loyalest supporter.
And StarClan doesn't feel like forgiving.
