ForestClan; Day 11

"So, Rueraw," Eaglestar snorted, his tail flicking back and forth in boredom. "Ever thought about, I don't know, living as a loner?"

The quiet she-cat looked up in surprise. "Well, not really. I always thought I'd, you know, live with my Clan for as long as I lived."

"That's sad."

"Why...?"

"Because you kind of won't." Eaglestar, his tail stilling, nodded to Pipersong. The warrior placed her tail on Bluepaw's shoulders and led her away gently, steering towards the camp entrance. "You know how this works. We exile you, you leave."

"I... I..." the apprentice seemed at a loss for words.

"You... You..." Eaglestar mocked, rolling his eyes. "Hurry up. We have some catrols to do."

Lakefeather sighed. "It's patrols, Eaglestar."

"Whatever." Grooming down his chest fur, the leader called, "Hey, Bluepaw! Enjoy my old life! Try not to get eaten by the badgers near here!"

BLUEPAW was been exiled. She was the Important Apprentice.

HINTS:

No, wait. I totally forgot about making apprentices warriors. Welp. Let's do that now!

Eaglestar, who the author had mellowed out with a bagel, yowled, "All y'all! We gotta do some name-thingy!"

Okay, so maybe not entirely mellow.

As the apprentices (Wildpaw and Fawnpaw) were pushed to the inside of the semi-circle of cats, Eaglestar jumped down and moved in front of Wildpaw.

Closing his eyes to remember the words, the leader announced, "I, Eaglestar of ForestClan, call upon our fallen comrades from this massacre to look at this apprentice. She has trained hard to understand the ways of our noble code, and I commend her to you as a warrior in her turn.

"Wildpaw, do you promise to uphold ForestClan's code and defend this Clan, even at the cost of your life?"

The she-cat nodded. "I do."

"Then by the power of the forest I give you your name. Wildpaw, from now on you will be known as Wildstorm, for your strong personality. ForestClan welcomes you as a full warrior."

"Wildstorm! Wildstorm! Wildstorm!" the shrunken Clan cheered, with the new warrior blinking in surprise.

Padding to Fawnpaw, Eaglestar closed his eyes once again, reciting the words in his head before saying them aloud. "I, Eaglestar of ForestClan, call upon our fallen comrades from this massacre to look at this apprentice. She has trained hard to understand the ways of our noble code, and I commend her to you as a warrior in her turn.

"Fawnpaw, do you promise to uphold ForestClan's code and defend this Clan, even at the cost of your life?"

Smiling, the apprentice meowed, "I do."

"Then by the power of the forest I give you your new name. Fawnpaw, from now on you will be known as Fawnwish, for your innocent and naïve personality. ForestClan welcomes you as a full warrior."

"Fawnwish! Fawnwish! Fawnwish!" the clan yowled, before continuing, "Wildstorm! Fawnwish! Wildstorm! Fawnwish!"

"You two will keep vigil for tonight to make sure ForestClan is not threatened." Eaglestar chuckled darkly. "Be it predator..." He walked away, the end of the sentence leaving chills down the backs of many.

"...or prey."

The kill tonight has a 25% chance of not working because of the vigil(sorry traitors)
