"We must come to a decision!"
The yowl seemed to be like a beacon(or bacon, whichever works) to the Hightree, cats coming from everywhere; their dens, the prey pile, the medicine cat den, outside, and soon everybody was sitting in the small clearing in front of Pantherstar and her perch.
Jumping down, the she-cat looked up at the sky, praying that she was looking at her loyal deputy Tigerblaze. "We need to choose the killer," the leader meowed, weaving between her warriors restlessly.
Leaping back onto Hightree, she turned around and glared. "Last night," she rasped, suddenly feeling sick, "I was almost killed. Again. The sad part is that I had seen the identity of my killer, but I was hit and can't remember it. HOWEVER, I remember white fur. I can't recall if there was a lot, or a little; I can only picture the white fur in my mind."
Gasps were heard, with heads quickly turning and faces quickly contorting.
Soon all the white-furred cats were rounded up.
The felines on the outside starting whispering, coming to a decision after what felt like ages to the white-furs.
A cat ran up to Pantherstar and hissed softly in her ear, the leader nodding and shrugging.
"Alright. Moonbrush, the warriors have chosen you to exile. Pinepaw, Bluesong, and Viperfang, if you could please escort her." The she-cat narrowed her eyes. "I want to start being more careful."
"I- but I was helping the clan!" she wailed, hissing desperately at the trio. "I-I'm figuring out who the Lead Traitor is! Honestly! I c-can help!"
"That's why we need you gone," a voice purred softly in her ear, but when she turned to look, no cat stood to her left.
"Goosepaw! Caramelbrush! Go help!" Pantherstar barked, (cats can't bark, Stick_Dude -.-) adding after a moment's thought, "Runetail, you too!"
With the strength of four warriors and two apprentices, they managed to wrestle Moonbrush out the entrance, who was yowling in despair and protest the entire way.
"And stay out," Viperfang growled, baring his teeth at her.
"Fine," the silvery she-cat's voice turned cold. "See if I care. Traitors perish, no matter how," she stared at a certain cat, but no one could tell if she was glaring the spectators or her "guards."
Stalking away, Moonbrush sniffed, wrinkling her nose.
"Who did dirt under this tree?" she muttered, her tail and head held high as she padded into the new and lonely life of a loner.
A black cat looked down sadly, the black speckles in his pelt seemingly rippling as he shifted. No one...
MOONBRUSH was exiled. She was the Spy.
Suddenly, Bluesong, Crescentclaw, and Goosepaw dropped down, coughing harshly.
"I'm fine," Crescentclaw rasped, waving everyone away. Trying to stand back up, all the she-cat accomplished was another fall.
Great, Pantherstar though bitterly, a plague and a killer. Just what we need.
"Uh oh," a cat mewed, when everybody recoiled from the prey-rot scent coming off of them and Viperfang, who started to cough as well. "They have inactivitycough!" (I just realized how stupid that sounds)
"Let's hope we can cure it, then," Goosepaw muttered, scowling as his new blisters that seemed to sprout out of nowhere.
