Lana turned the key and the door creaked open. This was the room that she dreaded even entering now.

She was at her old house.

The Wilson's Residence.

She had come in search of her mother Laine, in hope of finding her here. But she hadn't. Laine Wilson disappeared from the surface of Earth after Andrew's and Daniel's death.

Thankfully Lana had kept the extra key of the house all this while. In the start, after the funerals, she used to frequently visit here. And especially this room in which she was in now.

She entered further, shutting the door behind her.

The wooden walls of the residence, especially and only this room, were covered with portraits. The portraits made by Lana. Reflecting the only colours left in Lana's life now.

She looked at her creation.

Yes, once upon a time, Lana Wilson was a budding artist. And now, she moved, examining all the paintings one by one.

There were only three people that she ever painted. Damien. Maia. And Elijah. And was especially here to make an addition to that list there.

Her eyes moved to her favourite portrait for now. The portrait of Elijah Summers. The portrait showed a boy with jet black hair and striking green eyes with a very wide smile lightening up his face. The loose black hood was covering came halfway down his head. The rain seemed to be pouring down, every raindrop clearly visible.

But the rose that Elijah was holding in the portrait was the most beautiful spectacle. It looked real, as if touching the painting would actually move it's tender petals.

Lana had drawn this scene from the night he had asked her to be his girlfriend. And even today, thinking about it did wonders to her heart.

Before Damien and Lana formed a duo alone, Lana used to belonged to a trio. Not that much was different.

It used to be Damien, Lana and Elijah.

Elijah had just about proposed Lana but then things started going down hill from there. He started upset all the time and never told them what was wrong even though Lana insisted on helping him.

Then one day, when they were just video calling, Elijah started telling them how much he actually loved them both, that was Damien and Lana and then he had cut the call.

Lana and Damien had sensed that something was wrong. So they had rushed to his house only to find an ambulance outside. When they had entered his house together she had seen Elijah's mother sitting in front of the television, staring at the blank screen while moving back and forth. His father was holding her knee, tears streaming down his face while he told her to look up at him. But all she had been doing was staring and just staring blankly at the black TV screen.

Both Damien and Lana had rushed to Elijah's room, and when they had entered it, Lana had nearly lost it all that very minute.

Lana hadn't even tried to hold back her tears. Her vision had blurred but she could still see the body on the floor, wrist slit open and bleeding. The blood had stained the chiffon carpet that he had had in his room. And him.

Elijah had been sickly pale. His chest had been still. He had not been moving. At that time, there had been chaos.

People from the ambulance had come in pushing aside everyone to take away the body to the hospital. But being a doctor's child, Lana had known that there was too much blood. Enough to die.

But Damien had held her while she had cried.

As soon as the doctors had looked at him they had muttered an apology.
