"Damien where are they? Its been too long since we came out of the mansion?" Lana asked, firing a bullet at yet another person who was trying to aim for Damien.

"Lana it isn't easy, okay? We planned everything out in such a short time considering your unannounced departure that we didn't exactly consider the amount of time that it would take for everyone to do what they are told to. And this place is all electronically controlled, so its going to take all the more time for everyone to finish their assigned work." Damien spoke hurriedly.

Their backs were pressed against each other's while both of them fired away in all the directions that the threat seemed to be lurking in.

And it wasn't just them that way. There were hundreds of people, men, women and teenagers, all spread out and about the garden and the porch infront of the mansion. The green grass and the white marbled floor were already stained red. Some limp bodies were sprawled on the ground, ignored by the nonchalant humans around them. If it wasn't for the fight going on, Lana would have bent down to atleast close their lifeless eyelids over their non-living eyes.

But there was no time to spare. Finding a second of no bullet coming her way, Lana looked around to see everyone fighting.

Levi and Sarah had formed a duo, fighting the enemies fearlessly. Though, Lana could see the slight tremor in Levi's hand. She was sure that he would breakdown after this fight was over. His hands were the hands of an artist, not a murderer. But her friendship had cost him even his innocence. Lana looked away.

Paul and Cole were both landing rigorous punches at people. Jason and Castor were taking down people with their guns. Sam and Aria attacked a man with a knife, draining the life out of him.

But the spectacles of the battle that these teenagers were fighting were Henry and Kevin. Lana watched as both of them lingered around Damien and her, stopping anyone who got even remotely close to attacking them. Kevin was literally tearing people apart while Henry did a roundhouse kick to take down two men.

Lana frowned.

Where was everyone else?

She was just turning around to face Damien when she heard a voice screaming, "LANA! LOOK OUT!"

And suddenly she was knocked slightly to the side, her head throbbing as she felt the impact of impact of the punch on her cheekbone and the strong kick on her stomach. She grimaced, letting out a hiss. And then she straightened up and looked into the eyes of the person standing infront of her.

To Lana, the man looked too bulky but she could easily read his weakness through the way he stood and held himself upright. "That leg must really hurt even now huh?" She said, and immediately acted upon her knowledge. She slammed her fist into his nose and round-housed a kick to the side of his head. Hearing him shriek, she kicked his knee hard and heard a satisfying crack. And just when she was about to finish him, a bullet embedded itself right in the middle of his forehead. She watched as his eyes widened, his lips forming an 'O' and he fell to the ground, lying there, limp forever now.

Lana turned around to look at Damien who was gain busy firing. Shaking her head, Lana started shooting too.

She neared Damien and they were back in the position they were at in the start. Back to back.

"Where is Lizzie? Or Aidan? Xavier and Stephen? Where are they?" She screamed to get his attention.

"Doing what they are told to." He replied shortly.

"And Daria? Where is she?" She asked him. She needed to know, considering she had pledged to protect her like a little sister.

"Doing something important." Damien stated.
