Xavier gulped nervously as he felt Stephen's eyes dig into his taut back.
"Brother?" Stephen paused, sounding totally horrified. "Xavier what the fuck is he saying?!"
Xavier ignored the rampant questions and moved forward.
"Lukas." He acknowledged. To this the naked boy simply shrugged. "Still uptight I see. I thought this one here must have loosened you a bit. But no. The right almighty brother of mine will never change, will he?" Xavier heard him let out a chuckle and his grip on the gun tightened, his jaw ticking with the need to kill the boy standing infront of him.
But he knew not to budge. Maia was just ten steps away and Xavier hadn't failed to notice the glittering black gun in a hands reach of Lukas.
"See Lukas. Just let me take her and go. It's going to be way easier for the both of us here." He offered with tight jaw. He heard Stephen take a deep breath behind him.
"Xavier what are you doing? Just shoot him." Stephen whispered to him from the corner of his mouth.
Xavier pulled one of his hand behind his back, keeping his eyes on his gazing brother and motioned towards the gun behind Lukas. "Be patient." He whispered to his companion.
Lukas laughed. "You think it's that easy young brother. You really thought I would just let you march in and take this girl away?"
Xavier knew he had to waste time. Get Lukas to get hyped up somehow.
"You can't loose your mind Lukas!Maintain your calm because you know you don't work well under temper! It's your flaw! CONTROL IT!"
Xavier remembers Dean screaming that to Lukas when they were practising battle strategies.
Get him hyped up. That's it.
Xavier grinned. "Oh. I am not younger than you. You are, from what I remember, eight minutes younger to me, Brother."
He saw a nerve tick in Lukas' jaw. He knew this argument normally hyped up Lukas. "We have had this conversation Brother. It doesn't matter how many minutes younger I am. I am still mentally, way, stronger than you. Don't you agree?" And Lukas gently nodded his head towards Maia's limp body.
Remain calm. Breathe.
"But still it wasn't me crying when our poor rabbit Fluffy died." Xavier let out a venomous laugh, ticking Lukas more. He knew Lukas was about to break.
"Shut up. Shut up you good-for-nothing twerp!"
"Seriously? That's the best you got?" Xavier asked and then continued, "No Asshat? Horseshit? Or maybe that one? What was it? It was my favourite you know." Xavier pretended to think. "Oh yeah. Bubble poop." He gave out another hearty laugh, remembering a time when his brother wasn't this bad. When he wasn't this ruined.
"You son-of-a-bitch!! How dare you bring-" Xavier saw him reaching for the gun and chuckled.
"It was worth a shot." He paused. "Bubblepoop." And Lukas lost it right there and then. He lunged forward with the gun in his hand and blind fired, missing Xavier and Stephen from a marginal distance.
Stephen moves to the right, ducking behind the chair while Xavier slid from side to side and took cover behind another lone chair.
"What do you think of yourself?! You can't fucking march in and do whatever the fuck you want?!" Lukas screamed, again shooting at Xavier and missing him.
"I surely can Brother. I own this place as much as you do. Which just by the way is not at all." He screamed over the gunshots, hyping up Lukas even more.
"Oh you can say all that you want. But you know what I can tell you?" Lukas paused. Xavier knew what was coming next. He knew what Lukas was trying to do.
