The opening credits of the movie began and everyone got comfortable.
My legs rested on the table and my arms crossed in my lap.My eyelids started to get really heavy and I struggled to keep them open. The movie had only been on for at least 10 minutes and everything around me started to fade.
Finally, I gave in and shut my eyes nodding off. My head ended up on Steve's shoulder where it stayed until the movie was over. Everyone got up and went to bed, as Steve took my shoes off and pulled a blanket over me, still laying on the couch.
"Y'all are cute," Tony chuckled as he and Steve walked to their rooms. Steve ignored him but a version of the thought stuck in his head, 'she is cute,' he thought.

*Thud!* I hit the floor struggling in the tangled blanket wrapped around me. Finally, I wiggled out of the blanket and got up. I had no idea where I was so I walked to the sunny window and looked out.
"Oh," I whispered remembering where I was and why. I could see my reflection and sigh at my crazy hair.
"Good morning Miss (y/n)," Thor called out from the kitchen.
"Uh... Good morning Thor," I awkwardly replied moving back to the couch looking for my shoes, keys, wallet, and phone. Finally, I found them tangled in the blanket and headed toward the elevator.
"Where are you going, Miss?" Thor called out before I walked out.
"I'm gonna go home. But tell the rest of the team that last night was really fun, please?" He nodded, "Thank you." I got out of the living room and quickly tiptoed to the elevator.
*Click Click Click* I repeatedly pressed the button trying to get out of here, not wanting the rest of the Avengers, especially Steve, to see me like this.
"If you press that button one more time your gonna break the elevator." 'Really' I thought as I turned to meet Steve with ruffled hair and tired eyes.
"Haha, yeah I guess I shouldn't do that," I awkwardly laughed stepping away from the elevator. Then the doors opened.
I stepped in and Steve followed wanting to walk me to my car. "You're up early, it only like 6:30 on a Saturday," he said through the long silence.
"Like I said last night I'm used to it," I replied. The elevator doors opened. "And I want to go home."
I got into my car and Steve looked like he had something on his mind, "Whatcha thinking?" I looked at him cocking my head and raising my eyebrows.
"Nothing. You said your training for the marathon right?" I nodded, "Maybe we should train together sometime or something." He said scratching his neck nervously.
"Sure, but I don't think we would be running together. I will be like 2 miles behind you." I joked and he smiled at you.
"I'll slow down a little."
"Okay, see you... Monday morning? For a run?" I asked.
"See you then." He smiled as I closed the door and turned on the ignition. Then I waved turning out of the parking lot.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
It was Monday morning at around 5:30 am when I got up. I put on some running shorts, a sports bra, a dry-fit long-sleeved shirt, and shoes. I looked in the mirror and pulled my hair up in a tight ponytail. Then I grabbed a water bottle and the basic things I needed (wallet, keys, phone) and headed out the door.
I got in your car and texted Steve to see if he was awake. Then headed toward his apartment to pick him up.
Steve: Yeah I'm awake, I'm almost ready.
You: well I'm almost there, so hurry.
Steve: Don't text if you're driving. See you in a bit.
He was right, I probably shouldn't be texting him while driving in morning traffic. I pulled up to the apartment and waited for him there.
He stepped out of the door I waved to him unlocking the door. He pulled it open and got into my midsize sedan.
"Good morning Cap," I said getting back on the main road. Steve looked at me and smirked.
"Good morning Agent." He replied coldly then I looked at him acting offended.
"So where do you wanna go? Central Park?" I asked as we stopped at a red light.
"Sure," he replied. I nodded then turned on the radio and told Steve to find something he liked. I was taken by surprise when he stopped on a modern pop station, I thought he'd go for something a bit more... old school. I was soon distracted by a car cutting me off.
"This is a great song," Steve commented quietly as the first few notes of Chasing Cars came through the speakers. The song pulled my attention from the road as I began to hum along.
"You have good taste, Steve," I smiled turning my attention to him for just a moment, "This is my favorite song."
We got to the park and stretched before the run. It had rained the day before so there were puddles and mud everywhere.
"6 miles?" You asked.
"That sounds good," he replied.
"Ready...... Go!" I said, and we both started running.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I kept up with Steve for about 2 miles then I slowed to my usual pace letting him get ahead of me.
We now had about a mile left on the run and it started to sprinkle a little. I started heading back to the car when the rain got harder.
I had 30 seconds left when Steve yelled something from behind startling me making me step off the sidewalk. My foot slipped on the mud then I landed on my hands and knees as Steve ran up to trying not to laugh.
"Are you ok?" He asked, I looked behind at him and my face said all he needed to know. "Uh do you need help," he asked as I fell on my side trying to get up. He stuck his hand out and I grabbed it making Steve lose his balance and fall next to me.
"Hahahahahaha!" I laughed as Steve gathered himself. Now we were both hysterically laughing in the pouring rain sitting in mud. The loud thunder and lightning startled us as we scramble to get up.
We jumped in the car and closed the doors. Then I looked at Steve and you started giggling, he just smiled.
I continued. "What?" I stopped not knowing what the look on Steve's face was.
"Nothing, it's just your laugh is really pretty." He said making me blush like no one's business.
"Well thank you," I whispered and fell a little more in love with the man next to me.
