"Good afternoon po." Magalang na pagbati ni Josh.
"Good afternoon din." Si mom lang ang sumagot sa pagbati nito.
"Let's get straight to the point." Masungit na panimula ni dad matapos naming makaupo. "What is this lunch meeting all about?"
"We're getting married." Ngiti ko sakanila.
Napainom bigla ng tubig si mom dahil sa gulat at napakunot noo naman si dad. "Are you pregnant?" Mom asked.
"Kailangan ba buntis para magpakasal?" Salt said sarcastically. "Hindi ba pwedeng nagmamahalan lang sila?" Umirap pa 'to sa kawalan.
Tinignan lang siya ng masama ni dad dahil sa sinabi nito. "We went here to inform you all po." Kinakabahan kong panimula. Josh took my hand and smiled at me. "We're planning to have the wedding early month next year." Dagdag ko pa.
"Speak up young man." Nagulat kami sa sinabi ni dad.
"I am Josh Calderon Sir, Jandra's son.I am formally asking for the hand of your daughter." Ngumiti ito sakanilang lahat. "I am the illegitimate son of Jude Calderon, stepbrother of Charles who happened to be the ex-boyfriend of Sweet. I won't be ashamed from where I came from like not being ashamed for loving Sweet. I'll be honest Sir... that compare to Sweet's exes I may not be the richest. Nagulat kaming lahat dahil biglang tumayo si dad at nagpunta sa pwesto namin. He offered a shake hand kaya tumayo rin bigla si Josh at tinanggap ito. "I now welcome you to the family." Niyakap ito ni dad na parang isang anak na lalaki.
"Thank you Sir." Masayang sambit ni Josh.

Dinaluhan kami nila mom at ng mga kapatid ko. Niyakap ni mom si Josh at masayang tinanggap sa pamilya. "Sweet is the most stubborn daughter that I have. 'Wag ka sanang mapagod sakaniya." Biro ni mom dito.
"Don't worry po. Sanay na po ako diyan." Tawa ni Josh.
"Goodluck dito ha. Masakit 'yan sa bangs." Tinapik siya ni Sugar sa balikat. Ngumiti lang si Josh.
"Don't try to hurt her. I can punch a guy you know." Seryosong saad dito ni Ate Spice.
"Don't worry. Ako nga laging sinasaktan nito." Biglang napangiti at napailing si Ate Spice dahil sa sinabi nito.
"Isang galon na HT, stock ng blueberry cheesecake sa fridge, no sugar soda at cheese flavored foods para mawala ang toyo niya... para palagi ka ring pagbigyan." Pilyang sabi ni Salt na nagpatawa sa aming lahat.
