Chapter 2

"Thor who is this?" I asked a bit shyly since it was a stranger.

"This is my brother, Loki, who I've been telling you all about. He's the mischief maker." He whispered the last part to me but I saw Loki roll his eyes.

"Oh, very nice to meet you Mr. Mischief" I said to Loki, slightly teasing him. He rolled his eyes again. He could've eye rolled out of the galaxy if he did it again.

"Lady Y/n, is the rest of the team around? I wish to speak with them about Loki's... predicament." Thor said to me.

"I don't think so, I haven't been paying much attention today.." I told  him.

"Ah well, shall we get inside? It is getting quite cold." Thor asked me. I nodded and we all went inside the tower and took the elevator up. Once we were inside we went to the kitchen and Thor made Loki sit on a stool. Thor asked where the power limiting bracelets were and I got up to get him one from Starks lab. I picked up the bracelet and got flashback to when I first entered the avengers.

"Alright Y/n, we're gonna put this on you for a little while, it won't hurt but it'll just restrain your powers a little bit, okay?" I nodded quietly. I guess they didn't trust me enough. Makes sense.

I got the bracelet and went back to Thor to give it to him. He thanked me graciously and put the bracelet on Loki but took off his muzzle.

"Great I get to wear jewelry now." Loki said with a rich, deep voice yet unamused. My heart fluttered just hearing his voice. What the hell Y/n? Why did that just happen?

"It will only be a short while brother, until the Avengers trust you enough." Thor said as he interrupted my thoughts.

"I doubt they'll ever trust me, brother." He added a drip of sarcasm in his voice, mocking Thor.

"Chin up Loki! This will be fun! You have lady Y/n here!" Thor said, trying to keep Loki's hope up a bit.

Loki looked at me. His eyes told a story that he has been in pain and needed a friend. A certain sadness lingering in his eyes. I nodded my head and said

"I'm here, I trust you..." I said to Loki, maybe it was a bit far but I saw a spark in his eyes for a second but quickly get covered back up. Just then the elevator dinged and the avengers all piled out and flopped all over the couches.

"Hey Thor." They all said collectively with a "Hey point break" added in. Goddammit Stark.

"Hello fellow friends! I have returned from Asgard along with Loki, he will be staying with us and has agreed to be an Avenger!" Thor said with enthusiasm.

"Hold on, what?" Barton said.

"I said, I have returned from Asgard-" Thor started to say but Stark interrupted him.

"Yeah, we heard you point break, but what's this about Loki staying?"

"Has Fury not informed you that Loki will be a new Avenger now?" Thor asked. Everyone shook their heads.

"Typical, he doesn't tell us shit." Stark said. Agent Romanoff gasped.

"Steve! Tony said a bad language word!"

"I'm never gonna live that down am I?" Rogers asked. Everyone shook their heads again and had a good chuckle.

"I'd like to be excused from this. Do I have a room?" Loki asked anyone.

"Just go down the hall and the last door on the left. That can be your room." Stark said to Loki. Loki turned to Thor and held his cuffed hands out at him. Thor took off the cuffs and escorted Loki to his room. I even heard Thor giving him a lecture at him to be friends with me.
