((Where I've been at the end of the book!))

(Just for a little bit of clarification, this is supposed to take place after the first Avengers movie and follow the storyline from there. Before you comment, there will be more at the end of this chapter about the storyline and this book.)

"Y/n? Wake up, something's happening." I woke up with a jolt, the tv was off. I looked around and saw Steve sitting next to me; he was the one trying to wake me up, looking very worried.

"What's up?" I asked groggily, rubbing my eyes, blurry from the lights turned on in my room.

"Well, first off, no one can stop them... so we're trying you." I got even more confused, who's "them" and why do I have to wake up for this? I nodded for Steve to go on.

"Thor and Loki are fighting on the roof, and it's getting almost physical." I rolled my eyes and swept my legs over the edge of the bed.

"You're waking me up for this?" I said with a yawn, stretching out my arms and back.

"No one can stop them, Y/n. They won't listen to us, even Nat. So we thought we could try you. If that doesn't work, we might have to step in." I rubbed my eyes one last time and stared at the floor.

"Fine. I'll be right there." Steve got up and before he left, he turned around and gave a gentle smile, silently thanking me. I nodded and he left, shutting the door after him. I got up and shuffled to my drawers, pulling out a dark gray long-sleeved shirt, and some black skinny jeans. I left my hair the way it was as it looked fine, and exited my room. I went into the elevator and went up to the roof. The doors slid open and the rest of the team were standing in front of the doors. I tapped Nat's shoulder and she moved out of the way, parting the rest of the team. I walked through them to see Thor furious. Loki taking gradual steps backward as Thor walked towards him. Thor was shouting, some zaps coming from his hammer. Loki's eyes were darting around, looking for a way out.

"Guys!" I shouted but they both didn't turn. I rolled my eyes at their, probably, needless rage.

"Thor!" Thor didn't bother to turn and yell at Loki. He started quickening his pace towards Loki. Eventually, he started barreling towards Loki and this wouldn't end well. If he tackled him they would both fall off the side of the building. I flicked my hand up and an ice wall appeared in front of Loki. Thor immediately stopped and looked around. Loki looked towards me but I ignored him.

"Can't you guys just talk like civilized people?" I shook my head and tsked. Loki edged away from the ice and near me. I rolled my eyes and made the ice go away. Thor locked his eyes on Loki and started to dart towards him. I made huge ice spikes appear to slow him down and for him to weave through. While he was slowing down I put ice onto his ankles to make them heavier and eventually he slowed enough for me to connect the ice to the ground, stopping him entirely. Thor let out a yell trying to get out of the ice. The spikes melted away and all that was left was Thor stuck to the ground.

"Y/n. I strongly advise against this!" Thor shouted.

"For what? So you can just kill Loki? I'm not gonna have the whole team have a bad look just because you want to kill each other." The team mumbled an agreement and stood there.

"You don't know what he has done! I must take him to Asgard! On my Father's orders." Thor didn't shout the last part but I heard him correctly. I turned and looked at Loki, shaking my head at him. His smug face disappeared into an unreadable expression when I walked past him and the team into the elevator. I swear to god, I was woken up for this? The elevator doors closed and I leaned against the wall. I sighed and rubbed my temples.
