Life on the big island

Aftermath..........

Parker's point of veiw:

Dad goes outside to talk to Leland and Grandma and Grandpa are cooking. Grandpa comes over and says "Dakota and Parker, let's go talk in Parker's room."

We follow him to my room and we sit down on the bed. Grandpa says "I know a lot has happened lately but we will all get through this. Dakota now that you know what has happened and why Parker is the way she is, are you still concerned about your realtionship?"

"No." He says.

"grandpa, since it has been so long will we even be able to get justice?"

"Yes we can. You just have to tell us everything you remember about him."

"Can we talk about all of that tomorrow? I just want to be with my girlfriend." says Dakota.

"Yes we can." says grandpa.

"Food is ready!" says grandma.

We walk into the kitchen and sit down at the table. Leland and dad come in. Dad's face is red like he has been crying, hard. He comes over and sits by me. We all join hands as grandpa prays. 

"Dear Lord, Thankyou for this day and all the people here today. We pray you will help us in helping Paker through the long battle. We pray that you will give us peace of mind and we pray for justice. We pray for Daunee Lee, seeing that that is his little girl. We pray for Dakota and Parker's realtionship that it will continue to be honest and faithful. In all this we ask in you name. Amen,"

"Amen." everyone says in unsion.

We eat the tacos grandma made us. Once everyone finishes eating we all go to grandpa's and grandma's to go swimming. Once we get there i go change into my bikini that grandma got me. I walk out into the back yard, where the pool is and Dad gabs me from behind and we jump in togther. When we come back up to the surface i am laughing and i fake punch him in the shoulder. I say "dad watch this."

I get out and go to the diving board. I do a double back flip off the board and he says "Wow, I wish i could do that but my body doesn't move like that."

We both Laugh and Dakota jumps in the pool which splashes us. I swim over to him and try to dunk him but he is to strong for me. He dunks me under and when i come back up he pulls me into his arms. Grandma takes my phone and takes a picure. Then dad puts one arm around me while Dakota wraps one arm around me and she snaps another picture. I say "I love you Dad."

He pulls me into his arms and says "I love you too, Parker."
