Tris pov

I walk the boardwalk with Tobias and all of our friends sad as everyone else laughs.

Tobias grabs my hand and kisses my head.

"Hey. We're good right? I know we got in a small argument last night but I don't want it to affect the rest of our trip" he says

"We're good" I say plainly

"You okay? You seem off today" He ask

"It's just one of those days" I say and he nods leaving me alone.

I'm so dull today because Tobias brought up my past relationship. He doesn't know what happened between me and chad but it brings memories back for me.

What happened between me and chad was scary. I don't wish anyone to go through that the way I did.

"Chris" I say walking up to her

"Yeah" she says with a big smile

"I need to talk" I say looking down at my shaky hands.

Me and her walk hand away from the group and they all turn to us confused.

I needed to get away from everyone because I was having a panic attack.

We sit in Tobias's and I's hotel room while Christina and I talk.

Tobias has been calling me but I won't answer.

"I'm sorry for dragging you up here with me. I thought my panic attacks about chad were over but he got briefly brought up last night and it's just been a weird morning ever since" I tell her

"Have you told Tobias about it" she ask and I shake my head no

"Nope" I say looking down

"I'll tell him soon. I know he wants to know" I say

The hotel door opens and it's Tobias. He looks from Christina to me and I sigh. I should tell him now.

"Want me to go" Christina ask me and I nod

"Thanks Chris but I should talk with him" I tell her

She gives me a hug and leaves Tobias and me in the room.

"Tris what is going on" He ask sitting next to me

"This is going to be a long story" I say nervously

"I'm here for you" He says gently holding my hands.

"I can tell something is upsetting you" he says

"Okay" I sigh

"I was going into my sophomore year of high school and I started dating this boy chad who didn't go to our school. We liked each other a lot and did everything together. My parents thought he was a great guy. I thought we were so in love that I let him be my first time." I start to say and Tobias just watches me with gentle eyes

"After that I noticed he started to get more aggressive in our relationship. He would want to know where I was at, who I was with, he would get so upset when I didn't answer his phone calls or text" I say nervously

"One day he took me out on a date. He parked his car in an abandoned parking lot and we started to make out. That night I wasn't up for nothing else but just kissing but he wanted other wise." I tell him and his eyes start to understand
