Chapter two

Tris pov

Today starts the senior trip which is a week down at the beach. The school gets a hotel and girls get assigned to one floor and the boys the other but no one really cares because they switch up anyway.

People have parties, Tobias is having a party one of the nights.

The school provides a fancy bus so no one has to drive.

I hold my big bag on my shoulder as we wait to board the bus and my friend Christina talks to me.

My hickey shows on the side of my boob as I wear my bathing suit top and shorts. It's been a weeks since Tobias and I's last hook up, we didn't even hook up because he got mad and left.

"Do you think you and four are going to make up on the trip? He still hasn't talked to you right." She ask me

"I hope so. I kind of miss him which is weird." I tell her

"And no. He's mad because of what I said the last time we were together" I add

"Which was" she says

"He was basically trying to tell me that I'm beautiful and that I should not look so down on myself and I kind of just shut him down and said we are only here to fuck not get into deep conversations" I say looking down

"Which was really rude now that I look at it" I add

"Tris, maybe he wants to be more than just friends with benefits. Have you ever thought about that" she says and I shake my head no.

"I'm not ready for a relationship" I say

"What we're doing is fine for Me" I add

"You should talk to him before we board the bus" she says

"Apologize" She adds

"Fine" I say

"Before you go. Answer me this. Do you like him?" She says

"I do" I say

"Then go after him. Make a relationship out of this. Make him your boyfriend. Then you guys can double date with me and will" she says getting excited at the last part.

I leave her with my bag and walk over to him where he's standing with his best friends Zeke, uriah, and will.

"Hey guys" I say

They know who I am because will dates my best friend and when Tobias and I would hang out over the summer, sometimes they would join.

"Hey tris" they say

"Can four and I talk for a second" I ask them and they quickly leave.

"So your hickey is still there. Mine is gone" he say

"Classic Tobias. Quick to notice my boobs" I tell him a joking way and he just laughs.

"How have you been" He ask

"Good. I'm not going to lie, I missed you" I say

"I missed you too" he says

"Are you still upset with me. I hate when we don't talk" I ask him crossing my arms over my chest

"No we're okay" he says and I sigh in relief, quickly bringing him into a hug. He hugs me back and chuckles.

He lifts my face to look at him and he wipes a tear from my face.

"Hey. You okay" he ask

"I just don't like when we argue. It makes me feel like you're going to hate me and we'll never talk again. I've just come to realize that you're so spe-..." I ramble to him when I'm cut off by this junior who stands next to us.

She's wearing a small bikini top to show off her boobs and the shortest shorts ever.

"Hey four" she says

"Tris" she says giving me a dirty look

Everyone at school knows Tobias and I are... I don't know what we are but we are something.

Tobias unwraps his arm from me and looks from me to the junior who's name is Rachel.

"Are you ready to go" she ask Tobias

"This is a senior trip" I tell her

"I'm four's plus one" she says

"Rachel, what happened between us was a one time thing" Tobias tells her

"I never invited you to the trip" he tells her

"But I thought you would want me here so we continue what we started" she says and my eyes go wide.

I cross my arms over my chest and look at Tobias.

"You have to leave now Rachel" he tells her

"I'm already signed up to go on this trip. I'll just find another senior to go on the trip with" she says

"See you later four. I'm sure this won't be the last time I see you this week. I'll send you my hotel room" she says walking away.

"So Rachel" I ask Tobias with my arms crossed over my chest

"I was upset with what happened between us so I flipped and slept with her at a party I went to but it was nothing. She meant nothing" he says holding my hands

"We're not in a relationship remember, you can sleep with whoever you want" I tell him

"But I can see you're upset" he says

"Fine I'm upset. I like you Tobias. I'm not sure if I'm going to do good in a relationship but I just got really jealous that you were with Rachel and I missed you so much this past week so I don't know what I'm trying to say here but-" I say to him and he smiles and quickly kisses me.

"I like you too tris" he says whispering against my lips then coming back to kiss them.

I stand on my top toes and he holds my waist pulling me closer.

"We're dating?" I ask him

"Looks like it" he says

"I'm sorry for the way I treated you. I knew you always wanted more between us but I was always so difficult and I couldn't bring myself to realize I'm worth it to you. That I could actually be loved" I tell him

"Hey. It's okay" he says holding my face.

"At least we have it figured out now" He says and I smile, giving him one more last kiss.

"I should head back to Christina. I kind of left her" I say as Tobias holds my waist.

"Sit next to me on the bus" he says

"Okay" I say and he squeezes my hand before i let go to walk away.

"So how did it go. I saw a lot of kissing" she says and I giggle

"We're dating. Looks like we are officially boyfriend and girlfriend. It feels weird to say that out loud" I say to her

"I'm so happy for you tris. You two deserve to be together. It's clear you really like each other" she says and I nod, smiling.

"Everyone board the bus" one of our teachers yell.

I pick up my bag and go to look for Tobias.
