Tris pov
I wake up to the sound of beeping. It sounds like a heart monitor.
I slowly open my eyes and Tobias is the first thing I see.
"Hello beautiful" he says and I smile at the sight of him.
My parents and his parents are in chair sleeping.
"Where am I" I say sitting up but I wince once I feel pain.
"You're in the hospital" he says
"Do you remember what happened" he ask
"Stacy" I say nervously
"Where are the girls" I start to freak out
"How's our baby" I ask and all these different questions come through my mind.
"The girls are safe. They are with Christina Marlene and Shaunna. Will, Uriah, and Zeke are still dealing with Stacy at the station but they will be at our house once we get home" he explains to me.
"Our baby?" I ask holding my belly.
"There is no baby. You had a miscarriage" Tobias tells me sadly and tears fill my eyes.
"No. Please say you're lying. We were so happy about this baby" I say freaking out and he just sits in bed with me and holds me.
"The stress with Stacy was too much, it affected the baby the doctors say" Tobias tells me
"This is all my fault" I cry and our parents wake up.
"Sweetheart" My mom says coming to my side and hugging me.
I look at the time and it's already the next day. Today is my wedding day.
"Today is the wedding. What are we doing here? We have to get home and organize all the things we need" I say and everyone gives me a sad look.
"We called off the wedding" my dad says
"Who called it off" I say
"We all did" Tobias tells me
"Tobias we just lost our baby now we lost all the money we put into this wedding" I say
"The wedding coordinator agreed to move everything to next month when it's a better time for our family. Hon, we just went through a traumatic experience, especially now with the baby gone" he says and I sigh
"Damn it" I say crying again
I cover my face with my hands and just cry a really ugly cry.
"Can we have a minute" Tobias says and our parents leave.
"I was so excited about today. About our baby. About the twins birthday coming up. Now everything is ruined because of that crazy woman" I say and Tobias wipes my tears
"We still have our wedding and we still have our twins. I know we wanted this baby but I'm sure we can make another one. Whenever you're ready we can" He says and I grab a hold of his hands.
"I'm so lucky to have you in my life" I say
"I wouldn't want it any other way" he says and I lean in to kiss him.
He holds my waist and gently kisses me back.
"The only thing we can do now is move foreword. We can't let this hold us down" he tells me and I lay my head on his shoulder
"Then let's move foreword" I say
