Chapter six

Tris pov

"I have to make sure everything is perfect this weekend. If not, Lauren will never let Sophie come over ever again" Tobias says fixing the couch and fluffing the pillows.

Tobias and Lauren settled their problems without court. Lauren is allowing Sophie to come over to Tobias's parents house for the weekend.

These past few months Tobias and I have graduated high school, grown in our relationship and have been getting really close with Sophie.

We are working on getting our own apartment.

"Hey. This weekend is going to be perfect. Don't worry" I tell him and he sighs

"This is the first time she's letting me have her to myself. I just don't want to mess it up" He says

"You're not" I say holding his face and he leans down to peck my lips.

There's a knock at the door and Tobias let's out a big sigh.

"I think that's them" he says and he walks over to the door.

I go to the kitchen and grab a bottle of water.

We stocked the kitchen up with all of Sophie's favorite snacks and juice boxes.

Tobias's parents are out on a business trip right now but they will be home in time on Sunday before Sophie goes home.

"Daddy" Sophie says running up to Tobias. He catches her and spins her in the air.

"Hi soph" he says kissing her head

"Tobias can we talk outside" Lauren says on the verge of crying

"Yeah, of course. Tris, I'm going outside real quick with Lauren, can you watch Sophie" he ask me and I nod coming out from the kitchen

"Hi sophie" I say to her and she runs over to me with a big hug.

"Hi tris" she says

"Are you hungry or thirsty" I ask her

"Thirsty" she says walking with me into the kitchen

I hand her a juice box and she's having trouble poking a whole into the box.

She hands it to me and I help her.

Tobias walks in and now he looks like he's on the verge of tears.

"Hey babe. What's going on" I ask as he closes the door.

"Sophie is going to be staying with us more then we planned" he says

"Why? What's going on" I ask and he pulls me farther from Sophie

"Lauren's a drug addict" he says and I cover my hand over my mouth

"She's deciding to move away to get some help. She said she will come back for Sophie when she's ready but she doesn't think anytime soon" he tells me and my eyes go wide.

"What do I do now" he sighs

"I'm a full time parent now. I'm 18. What has this year come to" He sighs

"You're not alone. You're parents will help and I'm here. I'm not going anywhere" I tell him

I bring him into a hug and he squeezes me tight.

The news I was going to tell him tonight will have to wait then.

He can't handle what I have to tell him.

Guess what: this morning I found out I was pregnant.
