Chapter thirty seven

Tris pov

Today we are celebrating the gender reveal of our now 5 month baby, that is growing inside me quickly.

Logan is getting better. He's home and happy. His cancer has stopped spreading and he is reacting well to the treatment. The doctor says he has a very high chance of getting better.

I knew things would get better.

Tobias wraps his arms around my waist and kisses my neck.

"You look beautiful in this dress" he whispers to me as I brush a hair brush through my hair.

"Thank you. I'm just so fat. My belly is so big" I say and he cups my belly and chuckles

"You're beautiful" he tells me and I look up at him and he pecks my lips.

"I love you" I whisper to him

"I love you too" he says back and we smile at each other

"So what do you think were having" I ask him

"I'm sure another boy" he says

"Mama is feeling a girl in here" I say and he chuckles

"Well we will find out today" he says and I nod, leaning up and kissing him one last time before we head downstairs where our moms are getting the party ready.

They are the ones that got the gender answer from our doctor. They know the gender and maybe our dads but to everyone else it's a surprise.

"Mommy" Logan says jumping on me to pick him up.

"Be careful with mommy's belly bud" Tobias gently says and I giggle holding Logan close in my arms.

"How are you feeling buddy" I ask him and he gives me a big smile

"I'm feeling really good" he tells me and I kiss his head.

"That's what I like to hear" I say and put him down.

He runs off to the living room and distracts himself with toys.

"Do you think we could get a hint to what we're having" Tobias asks our moms and our moms just laugh

"Tobias they are not going to tell us. Trust me I already tried" I say and we laugh again.

"I have such a beautiful wife" Tobias leans down to me and teases me as I try to connect our lips and kiss him

"Stop teasing me" I say and he chuckles, holding my waist and pulling me close.

We're in the kitchen grabbing some more ice and hamburger buns but Tobias won't stop distracting me with kisses.

He leans down and connects our lips and I wrap my arms around his neck and smile as we deepen the kiss.

Everyone is outside enjoying the party but we're being careful to hear if anyone is coming

He gently pushes me against the counter and leans close to me as we kiss but my baby bump is getting squished.

"Honey, my stomach" I whisper against our lips and he chuckles

"I'm so sorry" he says and I giggle as he steps back and kisses me again.

He lifts me up onto the counter and kisses along my neck

"Someone is going to catch us" I giggle, running my fingers through his hair

"No one is going to catch us" he whispers and I just roll my eyes and connect our lips back together.

He runs a hand under my dress and before anything can happen we're interrupted by Zeke.

"Really guys" he says and we pull away laughing

"Sorry. We're coming with the buns" I say touching my now slightly swollen, red lips.

"You're just upset you aren't getting laid since Shaunna is away on her business trip" Tobias playfully jokes with him

"Shut up" Zeke says

"I'm going to take these buns out. I will leave you two to talk" I say to them and before I go Tobias holds my waist and pulls me back for one last kiss.

"You're all mine later" he says and I push him away laughing

"Shut up" I say and he lets me walk back to the party.

Christina takes the buns from me and walks over with me to the grill where my dad is cooking hamburgers.

"What took you so long" she ask me

"Tobias and I may or may have not been making out in the kitchen" I tell her and she laughs

"I hate you two" she says playfully and I giggle
