Jirou's POV
Jirou Centineo is the name I go by everyday, the face of adventure and optimistic. Having to grow up with only my father as my guide on everything since my mother died due to childbirth complications. I've adopted many traits and habits from my father who loves extremely dangerous adventures like skydiving.
My father taught me how to do skiing and mountain climbing at the age of 7 and I tried skydiving at the age of 14 though I'm still underage that time. I gradually enjoy those things especially when I have my father supporting me on everything that I do. I've developed such skills like adapting to the environment quickly.
My father was always there for me even when I entered Dolim University. A University that was way too far from my country house where I live.
What kind of adventure will I face in this new environment? The thought was the first question I had in mind until I get excited by my own imagination of the adventures that is possible to be done inside this campus.
Lost with those thoughts in mind, I've wandered around this big place without knowing the right direction to where I should be going. Stopping on my track, I let out a sigh as I lower down my head and had my hand automatically scratch my nape.
After staying at that position for a minute, I thought of a bright idea that I will be asking people around. I might not be someone who is known by a lot of people but I hope students here do help people who are really in need.
Looking up, I started walking while I give myself some encourage to approach people. It didn't take me long before I heard some noises indicating that there are tons of people in this part of the campus that could help me.
I'm still a little bit far from where the noises are but as soon as I saw where it was coming from—I tried peeking but there's really a big crowd that seems like they are surrounding something. It was what I see from this view but my eyes were diverted when I saw a student walking towards my way and took that as a chance to approach the girl, I held her arm and let go of the hold when I saw her looking flustered.
When I'm sure I got her attention I took it as a go sign to ask
"Hello, I needed to apply for track and and field but I'm kind of lost. Can you tell me the way?"
She told me what I needed and as soon as I got the direction, I thanked her and never have I removed the direction from my head. I have a good memory at times, anyway. And I'm glad to show off how good in memorizing I am today. Just today though. I'll keep it in my mind first as curiosity hits me on what was up that even made the crowd gather there.
My body figure really helps a lot, I wanted to see what's in the middle that's why I forced my body to fit in between people and pushed some to make a way for me until I get to see someone who looks troubled, on the floor with no one helping him. As I investigate to see why he's just there, looking so scared. I quickly got on my knees to be on the same level on him, my eyes caught a bleeding wound from his body which made me move faster and get my first aid kit from the bag.
I've already said how of an adventurer I am and being one includes knowing how to treat a wound incase of emergency and also having a kit with you always. I've treat his wound and after doing so, I tried talking to him.
"Hey? What happened?"
I tapped his shoulder before adding, "Can you speak? You need to stand up, you can't just sit here man. Let's go and sit at the bench."
But all I see in him was being afraid that's why I decided to just be with him for a while.
I soon told him hold on to me to support him as he stand and he did silently. While walking, I can feel that he calmed down a little bit and there I took the chance to ask
"What are you here for by the way? I'll bring you there."
I figured out that he's a new student who might also be lost but I'm also wondering why I told him that I'll bring him to where he needed to go when I myself don't know this campus well.
"I'm.. actually supposed to apply for track and field."
"Really? I'm also here for the same thing."
After what I answered him, we decided to just be together and as he got his mood back, we talked a lot. Even hanging out with each other after doing what we needed to do and swear to see each other again next time.
