Chapter 38: Long Time No See

I was scrolling through my sns account when I saw Rika's photo online. She still looks beautiful like before. She has an angelic face, a very light skin tone, a model-type body. Not to mention her skin is flawless. She is so famous that her photo has more than a hundred hearts.

Rika and Shawn were great friends since childhood. They met one time at a park and Shawn invited her over to our house and that's where I met her. The three of us became close friends until 6th grade when Rika's family decided to move out of town.

We haven't heard of her for a long time until the end of our senior high when we just applied in Dolim university for college. She told us that she would also be studying there to bond with us but ever since then, we never got the chance to meet due to our busy schedules.

A day has passed.

We were at this university's cafeteria enjoying our lunch when I saw a familiar girl slowly approaching our table. It took me 5 seconds before I realized it was Rika, the childhood friend of Shawn as well as mine. She smiled at me and I smiled back, waving my hands at her like a crazy kid.

Wow. She's really beautiful especially in person. I got star struck with her beauty and stare at her when Dean waved his hand at me, So I came back to my senses.

Dean, Joseph and Shawn stopped eating and looked at where I am waving, then Shawn got shocked and stood up while Dean and Joseph continued eating. Shawn approached her and accompanied to join our table, we all agreed since they had no choice and it's okay to me.

"Wow, Shawn you're all grown up!" Said Rika while looking at Shawn from head to toe and she sat down beside Joseph. You can see at Shawn's eyes that he is so happy meeting his childhood friend again.

The two continued to eat quietly as well as me when Rika messed my hair. I looked at her with a serious look.

"Oh my, Justin! How did you grow? The last time I saw you, you're still so small and playful and now you're already tall! And why are you so serious baby jus~" She said making me feel embarassed.

And what the heck calling me baby jus?? That shit is making me cringe. I'm cringing to death but she's beautiful so Imma stay calm.

"Puberty. Duh." I said while looking down because of the embarassment she said. She just laughed as I rolled my eyes and turn her attention to Dean and Joseph.

"Is this two your new friend? Oh hello I'm Rika. Shawn and Justin's childhood friend." Rika said offering her hands to Joseph and Dean for a hand shake. Joseph and Dean accepted her offer and introduce theirselves.

"I'm Joseph." Joseph said and he started to eat again.

"Dean."

"Rika! I'm jealous. Why did you not sit down beside me?" Asked Shawn with a disappointment. I looked at him while raising my eyebrows and Rika just laughed.

"Don't be jealous my Shawn, I just want to see your handsome face as well as baby jus' face." Rika said while laughing.

My brother just nodded and I glared at her. Girl you're beautiful but cut that 'baby jus' thing.

"Can you not?" I asked with a serious tone, my brother tapped me.

"Rika just missed you Justin, understand, patience, patience." Shawn said while tapping me, still I'm embarassed.

"Okay I understand that but stop now, okay? I'm all grown up. Calling me that way with my team mates makes me feel embarass." I said while looking at Dean and Joseph who is currently trying to stop themselves from laughing.

"Okay I'll stop baby ju- I mean Justin." Rika said while chuckling and put her head at Joseph's shoulder.

Joseph immediately removed Rika's head on her shoulder and shrugged.

"What do you think you're doing?" Joseph
asked.

"Just.... resting." Said Rika with a cheeky smile on her cheeks.

We all stood up excluding Rika when the bell rang. The lunch break is already finished and we have to go to our room for classes.

"Wait are you guys already leaving?" Rika asked with a sadness on her voice.

We all just nod and fix our things.

"Goodbye Rika! It's so nice to see you again. Let's meet again sometimes if you're not busy, for now we have to leave. Bye bye~" Shawn said in a sweet voice and I just waved at her. The two bowed at her and started to walk.

"Wait Joseph!" Rika shouted so Joseph turned his back and we all got shocked when Rika agressively hugged him. Do they know each other?

"Excuse me..... Why are you hugging me?" Asked Joseph while Rika is agressively hugging him.
