Brooklyn- Today was a rough day. Your daughter was sick and you had been busy dealing with her all day that you completely forgot about everything else. Everything else meaning Brooklyn. Your phone had sat on your bedside table all day. You hadn’t laid a hand on it. You could hardly move away from your daughter without her screaming. All he wanted was to be held. You didn’t realize this until you went to your room and laid down with your daughter curled up next to you. Your phone started pinging. You picked it up and had over fifty missed calls and about a thousand messages. Of course Brooklyn was worried. You would constantly talk through the day and today you hadn’t said a thing to him. He had to be completely worried. But the thing was, your daughter is your ex-boyfriends kid. You started to text him back and then he called you before you could finish. You decided to answer this time since your daughter was sleeping. “Hello?” “Oh my god! You’re alive! I thought someone had kidnapped you or stolen you or something worse!” he said. “I’m fine Brooklyn. J-just haven’t been feeling well today,” you said. You knew you need to tell him eventually but you were just scared of what he’d think. You could never pick anyone over your daughter so as long as it didn’t get to that you’d be fine. But you could never be sure. Brooklyn was always so kind but a child can change everything. “Hello?” Brooklyn said breaking you out of your thoughts. “Huh?” you said. “I’m coming over. And don’t think about changing my mind because it’s obvious that you aren’t well,” Brooklyn said. “No, I don’t want you getting sick too. Please just don’t,” you said. “Too bad. I’ll be over in like five minutes,” Brook said and hung up not giving you anymore chances to argue with him. That also meant that this was it. Brooklyn was going to meet your daughter. You got up carefully, making sure not to wake your daughter and walked out of the room into the living room. You were actually surprised she stayed asleep. You paced around the kitchen, waiting for Brooklyn. The time seemed to go by so slowly and it only made you more anxious. A cry broke you out of your thoughts. You went straight to your room. You daughter was sitting up in your bed looking around for you. When she seen you she lifted her arms up waiting for you to pick her up. You instantly picked her up and she cuddled into you. Then you heard a knock on the door. Brooklyn was here. You walked to the door and froze right there. There was no good way of introducing them so this was it. You opened the door and Brooklyn smiled as soon as he seen you but his facial expression soon changed once he seen your daughter. It wasn’t an angry or disgusted look. It was hard to read but he looked confused. “This is my daughter, Y/D/N. She’s the one who’s really sick and the reason I haven’t been answering you all day,” you said. You held your daughter close to you. You could feel yourself shaking and you wanted to cry. “I didn’t know how to tell you. I mean how are you supposed to tell someone you have a daughter. Everyone else I’ve told has left. They all think I’m too young to have a kid and that I should have just gave her up. But I couldn’t,” you said.  “I would never leave you,” Brooklyn said. “Then you should just go. Wait what?” you said looking at him. “I can’t leave you. Leaving you would mean leaving behind the most important person in my life and I can’t do that,” he said, “If that means taking in a child I’m fine with that. Of course I won’t step past the boundaries. She’s your daughter but I will help you and I will make sure she knows she is loved and cared for.” You smiled and hugged him. It was better than you could have ever expected. You all went to the couch after that and you and Brooklyn cuddled while your daughter slept on your lap.

Mikey- “You can’t do that,” you said to your daughter taking the cereal box she had from her. She had decided to try and decorate the floor with cheerios. You set them up on the counter and she started crying. Of course. You picked her up and carried her out of the kitchen and into the living room. “Here play with this,” you said and handed her one of her stuffed animals. She took it from you and sat down on the floor playing with it. You walked back into the kitchen and went back to making lunch for the two of you. You just finished when you heard a large crash and then crying. You rushed into the living room to see that she had knocked everything off of her little table. You picked her up and made sure nothing hit her and that she wasn’t hurt. Before you could bring her to her highchair there was a knock at the door. Who could possibly be coming over now? It was only twelve. You walked over to the door and opened it to see your boyfriend, Mikey standing there with a bouquet of flowers in his hand. You instantly froze and his look changed from a happy one to a very confused one. You daughter was still in your arms and the worst part about all of this is that he didn’t know you had a daughter. You hadn’t brought it up to him yet and you weren’t exactly sure how to. Anytime he was over she was at her dad’s house or her grandparents so it never fully came up in conversation. “W-what are you doing here?” you asked quietly. “I came to visit you. Thought I’d surprise you and then maybe take you out,” he said and that caused you to look down. Of course he was just trying to be sweet. He always was. “Are you babysitting her?” he asked still confused. “N-no. Umm… this is Y/D/N, my daughter,” you said and looked shocked. “I meant to tell you sooner but it never really came out and I didn’t know how to just put it in the conversation,” you said looking down, “I understand if you don’t want to be with someone who has a child. You have a busy enough life already, you don’t need to help or anything. I mean she’s not your responsibility so me asking you…” “You don’t have to worry about that. You having a child doesn’t change the fact that I love you. I will except you for you and I will except your child. It’s not far to you to date someone who doesn’t. Also on top of that I love kids,” he said. You smiled slightly and invited Mikey in. He happily walked in. As soon as the door closed your daughter started fussing and you instantly remembered you were about ready to feed her lunch. You took her into the kitchen and set her in the highchair and gave her her food. “Sorry for interrupting your lunch,”

Jack- You were at Jack’s house for the day. At this time you and Jack were just laying in bed watching a movie. Well you were watching the movie. Jack had passed out about ten minutes ago. All the sudden your phone started going off. At first you ignored it but it just wouldn’t stop. You looked at your screen and it was the babysitter calling you. She was texting you and calling you. She was struggling with your son and he really really wanted to talk to you. You texted her back telling her that you would call later but she didn’t stop. He was throwing a tantrum. So you decided to talk to him for a few minutes to get him to call down. You got up carefully without waking Jack up and you walked into the bathroom. You sat down on the counter and you facetimed the babysitter. She seemed so relieved to finally have you calling her and all you could hear from the other end was screaming. “Mommy!” your son yelled as soon as he realized you were on the phone. The phone was soon in your son's hands and he seemed to be so much more happy. You couldn’t help but smile at him. He hated when you were gone but he never was this bad. “What’s wrong?” you asked him. “I-I want you to come home,” he cried. “I’ll be home in a few hours,” you said that only made him cry more. “I can’t come home right now but I will be home as soon as I can,” you told him but even that didn’t help. Right now he wants you and nothing seemed to be working. It broke your heart seeing him like this but if you left now Jack would get suspicious. You just haven’t told him yet about your son and you couldn’t yet. Right now you couldn’t deal with another person leaving you. It was just too much to handle and you had to much going on to deal with that. “I-I want you home. I-I want to be with you,” he said still crying. “How about in one hour and I’ll get you ice cream,” you said trying to bargain with him. “Who are you talking to?” you heard a voice say causing you to jump. Jack was standing right beside you. “I-it’s….” you stuttered. You were completely frozen. “Mommy!” your son yelled causing Jack to look even more confused than he already was. “Umm… yeah,” you said. “You have a son?” he asked and you nodded. This was the worst thing that could have happened. He was going to leave you now and he wasn’t going to come back. “Why didn’t you tell me?” he asked. “I didn’t want you to leave me. I still don’t but I understand if you do,” you said. “I’m not leaving you. I was never going to. I love you and you having a child doesn’t change that. I’ll help as much as I can,” Jack said and it caused you to smile. You didn’t even realize you were crying till he pulled you into a hug and just held you there. “I need to go to him,” you said. “I’ll go with you. Then I can meet him,” he said causing you to smile. Then you guys left.
