I know my punches are swung with a lot of strength
And you can only take so much of my hits before you disappear
But I need you to stay strong for me, stay strong for me because without you then I lack the soul I usually hold

hold me accountable for my notions hold me accountable for my motions hold me accountable for my actions

Guide my spirits to do right by we ..... or us
I guess I should say cause we are one
I can't make all these actions without actually trusting in you shadow man

make sure my decisions are right by nights end and if they aren't
shadow man shadow box and strike me dangerously keep me in check so I don't lose my insanity oh shadow man ,shadow man how do you see me? how do you love me? I feel I let you down daily but you push through and hold hope and opportunity over me
shadow man without you I'm just another no-name chasing a false hope of what some amount to "fame" I just want my name remembered by all for the right reasons and not for one mere season but shadow man keep shadow boxing to keep in my mind life is no movie it's no Rocky and before you're successful you've got to fall first.
