feening for your energy
maybe it'll go away when I'm sober
don't get it confused I'm no druggy
unless the drug is your love lovely
come over on a Tuesday night
you and I can get right
it's weird cause I get the 10-year-old feels
you know the like like!
maybe when I'm sober
I'll realize you aren't the perfect painting I've created
I haven't been on a search for another soul for so long I've been waited
Hopeless romantic and I hate it
Maybe when I'm sober
I'll find someone that can relate it
But right now I'm still high off you
Still drunk off you
still strung out off you
still sipping the heavy ass drink that you are knowing I'm getting drunker
begging for a sign yet I still ignore the thunder
maybe when I'm sober
everything will be kosher
but as of right now I'm still a druggy
You intoxicate me
With one look
And you're even more beautiful
When I'm blurred vision
And bad decisions
I hope you don't take that the wrong way
But with you
You're a hangover that doesn't go away
I'm still feeling your effects when you're gone
Still missing you
Like head colds in the heat of Summer
But you like me sober
And I can't feel that unless we're apart
I rather vulnerable and flawed
To the point where I can't remember
So I'm not trying to part from you
this hazy woozy feeling it's what I feel I been missing
so yes you're bad for me and yes it's a tragedy but don't you dare go distant
don't you save me from me
don't you check me into rehab by re-moving yourself from me
I KNOW WHAT I LIKE
I KNOW WHAT'S GOOD FOR ME
you just THINK you know
BUT YOU DONT!
because this whole time what's good for me
what's keeps me from insanity
my daily reminder that a masterpiece helps master peace
is ..... you. My number one drug.
