Riding down Main Street I picked up a passenger in my 2 seater
I asked her where to go and she said make a left right here
The sign said Lover's Lane
I asked where she lived but she gave no reply
She told me to sit back and just enjoy our ride so I obliged
We rode listening to our favorite artist and minimal words were said
I should've known then the directions I was told would leave me stranded
but the ride was so cool and so comforting I knew nothing different
then finally after 2 years of riding in the two-seater she said this is my stop and it's been real and I said but the journey we have is even realer
she said nah I'm just a chaser of thrills and you're no longer a stranger
I wish before I picked up this hitchhiker someone would've warned me even with no weapon, her looks, and her intellect is a killer she's still a danger.
