Chapter 13

Jeon Jeongguk, the nation's pride has returned after being gone from the public's eye for three months after his failed suicide attempt.

Taehyung was so shocked when heard the news by chance. He was preparing himself for school. Hyungsik has moved out after Taehyung promised him he would take care of himself since that is what Seojoon would want. He still misses his husband everyday and his heart still hurts like it does when Seojoon was announced dead. But he have to live and he cannot just throw a tantrum because of it. The world was shocked when they learned of the news. Seojoon's parents call him everyday to make sure he is okay and Taehyung feels bad everytime. Its not only me who lose him.

He try his best to accept his husband's death but he find it so hard.

And the news he just heard shocked him. And his thoughts suddenly goes out to Jeonsoo. Jeonsoo, the adorable little boy who only have his father. Jeongguk! What happened! How could you do this to your son! He thought. But he wonder why Jeongguk would try to kill himself! He got the perfect life!

He can't wait to get to school to see Jeonsoo. Jeonsoo, the adorable little baby who cried when Seokjin try to take him from him.

Taehyung haven't spared any thoughts about Jeonsoo and any other thing for a while. His thoughts were always occupied by Seojoon and his miserable life. He feels so guilty when he was reminded by the sight of Jeonsoo looking at him with his wide doe eyes, how the little guy trust him with all his life and how he always cling to him.

He couldn't wait to see Jeonsoo.

He hurried and rushed out of the house and make his way towards the school.

"Jeonsoo baby, are you ready for school?" Mrs.Jeon asked the little guy.

Jeonsoo had visibly withdrawn himself from everyone. He became sad and quiet ever since he woke up crying for taetae and his daddy.

"Yes nana." The ever obedient boy answered.

Jeonsoo was young and the only thing he look forward to now these days are his bedtime where he can dream about anything he want.

He grabbed his bunny plushie and grabbed his Nana's hand.

He could only hope that taetae would finally come to school. And for his papa to come back home.

He was told that his father was out of the country for a game and he haven't seen or heard from him for months and little Jeonsoo find it very weird that his Papa haven't called him like he always do when they are apart.

"Nana? Will Taetae come to school today?" He asked like he did everyday.

His grandmother sighed and forced a smile.

"I don't know baby. I'm sure he miss you like you do."

And his grandmother prepared herself for the next question Jeonsoo never failed to ask.

"When will papa come home?"

"Soon baby. Soon."

Taehyung reached the school earlier than he ever did. He was greeted and comforted by his colleagues but he could not think about anything other than Jeonsoo.

"How is Jeonsoo doing?" He asked his colleague who took over his class during his absence.

"Ahhh.. That poor boy. Ever since your absence, Jeonsoo stopped playing around and he had become so quiet. He would cry whenever he learn that you didn't come. His father's absence surely does affect him. I don't know why would he try to kill himself! That guy is rich!"

Taehyung don't really want to talk about Jeongguk's attempt at suicide with anyone since no one knows the reason. He don't think it is appropriate to discuss it like it's some viral gossip but he forced a smile and waited for his students especially Jeonsoo in front of the school gate.

And he saw him. The adorable baby he really wanted to see. His grandmother was holding his hand and Jeonsoo was walking towards him with his head down.

Jeongguk's mother saw him and she immediately smiled. Taehyung watched as she crouched down and whispered to Jeonsoo.

Taehyung's eyes weld up with tears when he saw how Jeonsoo's head snapped up quickly. Jeonsoo's lips quivered and his little feet were running towards him. Taehyung couldn't hold back his tears and ran to meet him half way.

Jeonsoo held his hands up and Taehyung didn't fail to grabbed him in his arms.

"Taetae!" Jeonsoo cried and the sight was heartbreaking for everyone who saw them.

"Awww my baby" Taehyung cooed and his tears rolled down his face uncontrollably.

"Miss you Taetae" Jeonsoo sobbed.

"I'm here baby. I'm here" Taehyung said and pacified the baby.

Jeonsoo's sobs break down into heartfelt sniffles.

Taehyung leaned back and urge Jeonsoo to look at him.

Wide teary doe eyes stared back at him.

"Don't leave me again Taetae. Wanna be with you" Jeonsoo said.

Taehyung felt his heart fluttered.

"I won't baby. I promise." He said and smile at the baby.

Jeonsoo smiled and bury his head into his neck.

"Taehyung.."

Taehyung looked at his side where Jeongguk's mother stood.

Jeongguk parents has always been good to him and if it wasn't for Taehyung who cut them off from his life, they would still be in contact.

"Eommoni.." Taehyung said with his shaky voice.

Mrs. Jeon also have tears in her eyes.

She smiled gratefully.

"I'm so happy you're back." She said and Taehyung smiled back at her not knowing what she meant by that.

Because Jeongguk's parents always wanted Jeongguk to be together with Taehyung and they were also very sad when they broke up.

And now that Taehyung is back in Jeongguk's live in a very unpredictable way, Mrs. Jeon hope that Taehyung will learn to love Jeongguk again like he love Jeonsoo.
