Chapter 19

Taehyung lightly shook Jeongguk to wake him up. He watch as Jeongguk stirred and furrowed his eyebrows and then slowly opening his eyes.

"I bet you're hungry. The dinner is ready." He told the younger and then focused on the little Jeon cuddling his father.

"Your son is so freaking cute Jeongguk." Taehyung gushed and gently poked Jeonsoo's bulging cheeks.

"Baby, Jeonsoo. Baby." Taehyung gently called.

Taehyung squealed as Jeonsoo's cute little pout became more visible and his dark thick eyebrows furrowed similarly to his father's.

He opened his big doe eyes and immediately smiled when his eyes met Taehyung's.

"Taetae" Jeonsoo called with his cute babyish sleepy voice.

"Awwww. Baby, come here! Let me hold you!" Taehyung cooed and reached out for him.

Jeonsoo quickly reached out his hands and contentedly cling to Taehyung.

"Wow! He didn't even looked at me!" Jeongguk said with an amused laugh.

Taehyung just laughed with him and held back a snarky remark.

Of course what do you expect? You literally ignored him for months!
Taehyung said in his head.

"Well! I'm his favourite human and he is my favourite!" Taehyung said and bounced the baby in his arms playfully, resulting in a fit of giggles.

"Yesh! Taetae ish my favwaite!" Jeonsoo exclaimed.

"Let's go and eat dinner yeah. I bet my baby is hungry!" Taehyung said and turned to walk out.

"Are you coming, Jeongguk?" He asked and looked at Jeongguk to see him staring at him with an obvious longing.

Taehyung sighed.

Taehyung can't give what Jeongguk wants from him. He don't think its possible for him to trust him again or love him again.

He can forgive him for what he's done but he can't forget the past.
And he can't imagine himself loving Jeongguk again, or being a couple again. He just wants to stay friends with him for the sake of Jeonsoo.

Out of all the students in my class, why do I decided to love the kid of my ex?

Sometimes Taehyung feels like fate is playing with his life.

"Jeongguk.." He said and the younger snapped out of whatever he was imagining. Which wasn't hard to guess. Jeongguk made his feelings clear but Taehyung will not hesitate to remind him that he don't feel the same.

"I'm sorry" The younger apologized knowing that he was caught.

Jeongguk watched as Taehyung sighed and walked out of the room with Jeonsoo in his arms while engaging with the baby.

He let out a sigh and bury his head in his hands as he think about how Taehyung looked at him just now.

He looked angry.

And he got all the rights to be angry but Jeongguk can't help himself but dream about their future when he saw Taehyung engaging with his son.

Jeongguk knows that he is selfish but he just wants to start over again with Taehyung. He don't want anyone else but Taehyung. But he also knows that Taehyung will never trust him again after he chose fame over him.

Jeongguk's heart contentedly floated when the sight of Taehyung feeding Jeonsoo welcomed him in the dining room.

Taehyung saw him and called him over.

"Why are you taking so long? Your food is getting cold." The elder scolded.

Jeongguk sheepishly smiled.

"Sorry. I'll dig in." He said and resist the urge to stare at the sight in front of him which was Taehyung feeding a very content Jeonsoo gently with love and adoration.

"Daddy! Taetae ish giving me ish-cweam if I eat all the food!" Jeonsoo told him excitedly with his mouth full.

"Awww really? How kind of Taetae!" Jeongguk gushed.

"Yes! And he will get extra if he eat all the veggies!" Taehyung said and Jeongguk laughed when his son groaned.

"Yeah. Gotta eat all the veggies Jeonsoo-ahh" Jeongguk said and gently pinched his son's cheek.

He sighed as he silently wish for this to become a regular event in their life. A permanent situation where Taehyung is with them all the time without the heavy knowledge of crossing boundaries and haunting pasts.
