“Sino ka? How did you get in?!” sigaw niya.
Alam kong takot siya. If the lights were on, she would be shocked instead of getting scared.
“Woah chill lang.” I’m trying to calm her.
Damn if only she could see me.
“Magnanakaw! Pa! Papa!”
Ako? Magnanakaw? Hindi ko inakalang hahampasin niya ako ng walis. “Aray! Aray! Aray! Ano ba hindi ako magnanakaw!”
The lights were turned on. Ninong immediately rushed to check me. Nabigla ako dahil ako ang nilapitan niya kaysa sa anak niya. Lumingon ako kay Evergreen para makita niya ang mukha ko.
Her face had no expression.
“He’s a guest Ever.”
“You didn’t inform me.” she reasoned, the Evergreen that she is.
“This is Kieffer Midnight Glyn. Be nice to him.” sabi ni Ninong.
There was no need for that, really. We already knew each other six years ago. I was hers and she was mine.

“Ano namang tawag d’yan.”
“Maroon. I wanna try, kaso may lipstick pa ako. I’ll try it on you na lang.”
“What?” hindi ko maintidihan.
Nilagyan niya agad ng lipstick ang labi ko. Hindi ako nagreklamo dahil may naisip ako.
“There, I like it. I think it’ll look good on me. Pwede-”
I kissed her again. I couldn’t help it. Kulang ang peck lang sa lips. I had to do it. I missed her lips so damn much.
“Konti lang ang nalagay ko.” I grinned.
“Baliw ka ba? Just because you kissed me once, doesn’t mean you can kiss me twice!”
“You’re acting like I’ve stolen your first kiss. We both know it’s not. Ayaw mo ba sa halik ko? Do you want me to ask permission next time I kiss you?”
I’ll make sure there will be a next time baby. At sisiguraduhin kong hindi na pagpapanggap ang relasyon natin. I’ll do everything to make you mine again.

I was drinking a glass of water when I caught sight of Evergreen swimming at the pool. Pumunta agad ako doon at umupo sa lounge chair nila. Pinagmamasdan ko lang siya habang lumalangoy.
Umahon siya at naglakad palapit sa’kin. Nasa tabi ko lang pala ang towel niya. I was staring at her while she was walking nearer.
Fuck why does she have a body like that? More importantly why is she wearing that piece of clothing openly?
“Thanks.” she said after I handed her towel.
“Ganyan ba lagi ang suot mo tuwing lumalangoy ka?”
“Yes.”
Damn! I know I can’t tell her what to wear and not to wear. Baka makabugbog ako ng lalake kapag may titingin sa kanya tuwing ganyan ang suot.
