Josiah Davis

The Next Day

"So you got something to tell my cousin that you haven't yet, got her stressing out." Alina said as she threw the medicine ball closer to my head than my hands. I sighed.

"Yeah, it's nothing she got to stress about."

"Okay, then dumbass tell her. You know she's still going through shit emotionally I dont need you making her hair fall out."

"Wait her hair falling out?" I asked in shock and Alina shook her head.

"No, but it's damn near starting to... What is it that you want to talk to her about?" she asked.

"So you know my son?" I asked and she nodded.

"Yeah, cute baby Lindo." she answered making me nod slowly.

"Yes...His name is Lindon now." I said and she looked at me all confused. I guess Trinn been stressing about what I wanted to ask her she never got a chance to tell Alina what was going on.

"Just know that all my previous speculations about him came to be true, and the reason I decided to go ghost on Trinn was for no reason." I said, feeling sad all over again.

"What? Hold the fuck up!" she said as she threw the medicine ball back to me. I caught it.

"Yeah, Kim forged the results of the DNA test and I guess her mom must've found the original and took Lindon to the courthouse and found out Kim terminated her rights as his mother."

"That ugly demon of a bitch." Alina mumbled clearly. Then she looked back at me with a confused face.

"But what that got to do Trinity?"

"Oh, I wanna ask her to be the mother in Lindo's life." I said shyly. Alina dropped the medicine ball I tossed back to her.

"Woah!" was all she said, no expression just that word. I bit my lip getting nervous. This was probably a bad idea but, when I saw Trinn and Lindo on my bed it was perfect. That's what I wanted to see day in and day out. I needed to be around that all the time.

"Is that a bad idea?"

"Of course not, Josiah. That's most definitely one of the only good ideas you've ever had." Alina said as her eyes started to water. I made her cry.

"Are you crying ?" I asked she shook her head.

"No stupid, it's hot as hell in this room and my eyes are sweating they do that sometimes." she lied. I laughed.

"Why couldn't you just ask her to do it? You know that she would."

"I need the perfect way to ask the perfect girl and my funds ain't up there yet for me to do so."

"Man you're just asking her to play mom in lil man's life not planning a wedding." She said making me look away like a guilty kid. She punched my shoulder hard as fuck.

"NO FUCKING WAY ! YOU WANT TO MARRY HER, LIKE FOR REAL MARRY HER!" she screamed making me look at her sideways, She's starting to sound crazy as fuck. I said what I said clear as day, why she screaming it back at me.

"No shit, shirlock." I said rubbing my shoulder.

"Oh my gawd, I gotta take sis to get her nails and hair done. I need to find her an outfit. I need to get her mom and sister down here, damn. "

"Josiah. I mean you ain't shit but when you the shit, you the shit I am not gonna lie to you." she rambled.

"Alina, wait chill."
