Trinity Carter"How you gonna up and leave like that, when I gave you all I had!" Chastity sang to my life-sized bear. I rolled my eyes.
"Very fucking funny." I said as I snatched the bear Josiah had gave me and threw it to a corner.
"And I would choose not to be yooour friend!" she continued.
"Chast, you aren't funny shut up!" I yelled. She shrugged and pulled out her headphones and plugged her phone onto my speaker and played it out loud.
"Oh my gosh I hate you." I laughed. Right now I was packing up my things so that I could go to school in the spring. I stayed home for fall and traveled to my father's side for majority of the winter. I really didn't feel like being surrounded by people stuck in that high school mentality. So I waited until I was ready.
"You taking this or leaving it?" Chast asked me holding up my car keys.
"Really?" I asked, and she nodded.
"I'm taking my car." I said and she frowned.
"First you leaving me and now, you taking my daddy car?" she pouted.
"Yeah." I said as I flicked her lip and walked past her picking up my box and walking down the stairs.
"Mi cyan believe it Marcia, Mi baby ah go ah college." I heard my mom say as she literally watched me struggle with the box. I smiled and adjusted the box and continued walking out to my car putting all of my boxes in. I walked back into the house and went right back up to my room to see Chastity putting some of her stuff in my room.
"What are you doing ?" I asked she looked over her shoulder.
"I'm obviously, moving into your room." She whispered.
"Why the hell are you whispering?" I asked as I made up my face all she did was slide down the door to the floor.
"The Feds." She whispered seriously. I busted out in laughter.
"Get your slow ass up." I continued to laugh. I was picking up my last box when she stood up and took it from me.
"Thanks, mini me." I said. She looked back at me and rolled her eyes. When we made it outside I saw both Kamahi and Vincent walking from Vincent's car.
"Hey KK." I smiled she laughed when I didn't acknowledge Vincent. The reason why I didn't acknowledge him is because every time I see him he has to bring up Josiah.
"Hey girl, I can't believe you're going away to college right now." Kamahi smiled.
"I'm not going right now, I'm packing my things up I leave tomorrow morning." I explained. Chastity walked out holding a bear and Vincent's eyes lit up.
"That's the bear Josiah got you?" He smirked and I shook my head.
"No, she gave that bear to goodwill, I won this for her at the carnival last week." Chas spoke up for me, making me smile. This is why I love her.
"Man stop playing, just talk to him."Vince said. I rolled my eyes, he believes that I'm still in love and hurt at what happened prom night. I kinda am, but at the same time, when I tried to go to Josiah's house after him not walking for graduation, Claudia told me that he wasn't there, but I had just saw him walk into his house. I knew then that I had to let him go.
"Yeah, that's a definite negative." I said as I opened the car door again for Chastity.
"Damn, Vincent she's not going to call him he had his chance but he didn't want to talk. She got to learn how to move on." KK said.
