The next morning Magnus woke up in the same position that he went to sleep. His head and hand on Alec's chest and Alec's arm was still draped around Magnus's body keeping him close. He lifted his head slightly to look at his boyfriend that was lying there asleep, carefree and the sun hitting his face, looking beautiful. Suddenly he started smiling not just about the sex last night which 'was amazing' Magnus thought but how he was so afraid to tell Alec about himself, about his true self but yet Alec still stayed he was still here. Magnus put his head back on gently to be careful not to wake him up and he suddenly had a sad thought. Alec wasn't safe as long as he was with Magnus despite Alec knowing about him, Camille will still look for him he had to leave and that thought caused a little sob to escape. While Magnus was lying there with his own sad thoughts he felt a stir underneath him. He wiped his eyes dry and looked up to be faced with a smiling Alexander. Alec noticed Magnus's slightly red eyes like he'd been crying but decided to dismiss it 'his eyes must be rubbing' he thought. Magnus looked up at him "what?" Alec asked seeing Magnus's smile. Shaking his head "nothing. I'm just. I'm happy" Magnus nodded "me too" he whispered. Magnus slid off Alec onto the other side of the bed both rolling onto their side so they could face each other. "I wanted to thank you Alec" Alec looked at him confused "for what?" Magnus rolled onto his back "for accepting me for who I am. For giving me the strength to show you the worst part of me and you loved me anyway. Just thank you for being you" Alec's heart felt so warm at Magnus's words he was so speechless. He just nodded "I love you too so much. Now come here" and Alec pulled Magnus into an embrace and they stayed like that just talking about everything for the next 2 hours.

The next 2 hours past and now Alec is getting ready for work. He comes out of the bathroom to see Magnus sitting on the edge of the bed in his own thoughts "Magnus?" Magnus looked up "do you want me to stay?" Magnus shook his head "no don't be silly. Anyway I need to meet with Cat. I'll come by later" Alec nodded "okay. I'll hold you to that" he said as he giggled. "I've got to go" Magnus stood up and walked him to the door. They reached the door and Alec spun round to face Magnus who pulled him in for a kiss that last longer than Alec was anticipating but enjoyed nonetheless. They separated and Alec went to leave "Alexander?" Called Magnus causing Alec to turn around "I love you" Alec nodded "I love you too" and with that he left and Magnus was stood there smiling at the door where Alec once was but was brought back to reality by a text message. Cat: 'did you talk to him?' Magnus: 'yes we spoke and it ended well but. No I can't do this over text can you come over please' Cat: 'sure I'm on my way' and with in 5 seconds a portal opened up in Magnus's living room and Cat stepped out. She walked up to Magnus who was still staring at the door smiled. She stood in front of him and grabbed his shoulders "look I get you're in love and all but tell me what was so important that you couldn't tell me over text and where is he if it ended well?" She asked looking around the loft. "It did end well. He told me he loves me Cat. But there's something else come on sit down and I'll tell you" he pulled her over to the sofa and she sat down next to him. "Cat he needs to leave before it's too late" Cat looked at him confused "but I thought you told him" Magnus nodded "I did but that won't stop Camille she will still look for him and hurt him. I can handle him not being in my life if he's safe but if he died because of me" he took a deep shaky breath "I couldn't live with myself" Cat nodded. "I'm meeting him at dinner at work I'll tell him then but I just need your support till then" Cat held his hand and Magnus leant his head on her shoulder "I'm always going to be here. You're not alone" Magnus didn't say anything he just closed his eyes and relished on how much he really loved Cat and was so grateful to have her as his best friend.
