Chapter 30

Magnus hurried down on to his knees next to Alec's side who now had his eyes open and was looking at Magnus with his beautiful hazel eyes that Magnus fell in love with at first sight. Alec went to speak but was stopped by Magnus who shushed him and put a hand on his cheek. "It's okay you're safe now nothing gonna happen" Magnus told him softly, Alec was scanning Magnus's face "it's you, you're really here. You came for me" Alec said breathlessly, he didn't know if he was dreaming or at the gates of heaven seeing such a beautiful angel in front of him. Alec reached his hand up and grabbed the back of Magnus's neck "are you real?" He asked still not believing it. Magnus let out a soft laugh and nodded "its me Alec, I'm really here" Alec pulled Magnus closer pushing their foreheads together and both had their eyes shut "I love you Magnus" Alec whispered softly "I love you too, Alexander" and they pushed their lips together for a long kiss that was full of love and that was it. It was a kiss to showed each other how much they missed the other. They pulled away "I love you Alexander I have since the day we met I just didn't know it at the time. Come on" offering an outstretched hand "lets get you home and in bed before your sister realises you're gone" Alec took the hand and giggle lightly "now that would be dangerous" and they both laugh in sync.

They portal led back to Alec's apartment but just outside so not to wake Izzy up. With their fingers interlocked they walk into the apartment and into Alec's bedroom. Alec walked over to his bed and sat on it he thought Magnus had followed to sit with him but when he looked up he noticed that Magnus wasn't even looking at him but he was shutting the door and just stood facing it. So Alec stood up and walked towards him, placing a hand on his shoulder to turn him around. "Magnus?" Alec asked in a soft concerned voice and he became even more concerned when he saw Magnus's tear stained face that still had tears rolling down his cheeks. Without a moments hesitation Alec grabbed Magnus, pulled him in and hugged him tightly to which Magnus reciprocated. A moment later Magnus regrettably pushed Alec away which earned him a very confused look on Alec's face. "I don't understand. What's wrong Magnus?" He asked needing to know what was happening "just please sit down Alexander" and so Alec did and Magnus was now just pacing around the room rubbing his fingers against his temple around in circles. Magnus couldn't believe he was about to do this 'it's for his own good it will keep him safe forever' he thought to himself even if Alec will hate him it's better for Alec for it to be this way or that's what Magnus thought and felt. He felt it best if Alec didn't remember any of it.
