Chapter 20

Magnus woke to a bang his eyes snapped open and a hand full of magic ready to attack whoever or whatever that was. He stalked through his loft and heard shuffling in the kitchen, he followed the noise and saw glimpse of blue and threw the ball of magic. Whoever it was ducked and the ball of magic hit the wall making a burnt stain. The figure stood up straight and glared at him "Magnus!!!" It was Caterina. "Omg Cat I'm sorry" he then got confused "when did you get here?" Cat rolled her eyes "so I take it you don't remember much of last night" Magnus shrugged "I remember leaving Alec and coming back here and drinking" he said sadly and turned and walked back to the sofa. Cat followed him with a cup of coffee and handed it him. "Well you called me last night told me what happened with Alec I came here, when I got here you were already really drunk and you drunk yourself asleep" Cat told him. Magnus took a sip of the coffee and sighed "please tell me I made the right decision. About Alec" he said and leaned his head into his best friend's shoulder and she wrapped her one arm around him. "Honestly I'm conflicted because all I want is your happiness and you've never been so happy as you was when you was with Alec but Alec being with you also bought the threat of Camille to him. All in all I do think You've made the right decision. This way if something happened to him it will be down to himself because you have done everything you possible can" Magnus nodded and took a breath out "I hate her I really do Cat" he said sadly "I know me too" and she squeezed him tighter towards her. And then Cat's phone buzzed in her pocket she pulled it out and rolled her eyes at who it was that was texting her; it was Camille 'Magnus being heartbroken just isn't enough he needs to lose it all. A visit to the beautiful cafe might be needed. Give Maggie my best x' Cat just stared at the text 'oh I wish I could kill her' Cat thought and then a thought went through her mind something that could make that wish come true but first see need to visit Alec ensure he was safe.

Alec called his assistant manager of the cafe; Scarlett to tell her he wasn't going to be in for the next few weeks so she was to be in charge until he came back. At the moment he just couldn't bare to be in the place where he fell in love with Magnus. He was mad at Magnus for breaking up he understood why, he just was so hurt and heartbroken and felt a unbearable pain in his heart that physically hurt. He sat back on the sofa and looked down at the coffee table and saw the bottle of unfinished vodka that he was drinking the night before and everything from the night before came rushing back, everything that happened with Izzy it was all clear and Alec felt incredibly guilty. He reached for the bottle and screamed as he threw it. it launched through the air hitting the wall opposite him smashing the bottle; sending shards of glass all over the living room floor. Alec took a deep breath leant his head back and closed his eyes calming himself. Although the pain in his heart was still there he felt some comfort in breaking something. Suddenly Izzy came rushing in to the room after hearing the smash of the bottle. She rushed over to Alec "what happened?! Are you okay?!" She asked Alec worriedly, then she looked over to the floor and saw all that it was covered in broken glass and realised what happened. "You feel better now?" She asked mockingly, Alec chuckled and looked at his sister "a little". Then there was a bang on the door that startled the pair of them. Alec stood up walked to the door and recognised the figure immediately. It was Caterina.
