Chapter 6 - Think About It

Chloe's P.O.V
Jay and I were taking a break from rehearsing our song, we had gotten permission to work in the school on saturdays and today we were practicing the song. Rebecca walked in and immediately she noticed Barry was here,
"I have an idea" she smiled running over to me
"What?" I laughed
"We're still going to underground tonight aren't we?" She asked
"Yeah of course" I nodded "every saturday night"
"What if we invited Jay and Barry?" She asked
"No way!" I laughed "They would not be interested in something like that"
"They might be, come on I really wanna hang out with Barry but I don't want it to look like a date so if you and Jay are with ys it won't be so bad" she explained,
I thought about what my mum said, about spending time with Jay outside of rehearsals and getting to know each other,
"Fine but you're inviting them" I rolled my eyes
"Yes! Thank you thank you thank you" she squeeled excitedly "Come on" she pulled me over to them
"Hey" Rebecca started "We were wondering if you guys would be interested in coming to a sort of underground club kind of thing?" She asked and I could tell she was nervous
"What is it?" Barry asked confused
"Its a hidden club only a few people know about, there's music and drink" I explain
"It sounds kind of cool" Barry nodd looking at Jay
"Who'll be there?" Jay asked looking at me
"Just me, Rebecca and you to if ye want, as well as other people just not from the school" I tell him
"Sure we'll go, we'll pick ye up at Chloe's at around 8?" Jay looks between us for confirmation
"8 is good" Rebecca nods a huge smile on her face

"What's happening at 8?" Cameron asks walking into the room
"The guys are coming with me and Becca to the underground club" I tell him
"Oh, how come you never asked me?" He asks
"Because whenever I do you always tell me it's stupid" I laugh
"Well it is" he says in a huff
"What's up with you?" I ask confused
"Nothing, I just thought I'd come by and see how you're doing" he smiled
"We're doing good, the song is getting better so that's a relief" I said returning his smile
"Well, uh, I just meant how were you doing but whatever" he laughed nervously
"Oh sorry" I laughed
"We should get back to work" Jay says interrupting our conversation
"Yeah actually we should" I say looking at the clock "I'll see you tomorrow?" I ask Cameron
"Eh, yeah sure" he smiles before kissing me goodbye and leaving
"Could I stay? I wanna hear the song" Rebecca looks at me with hopeful eyes
"If Jay doesn't mind" I look to Jay
"Yeah it's okay, Barry wants to hang around too" he nods.
We sang the song a few more times and added some adjustments but once we were happy we decided to call it a day and we all started to walk outside. When we got outside we confirmed that Jay and Barry were picking us up at 8 and then we all went our separate ways. Rebecca drove to my house and we went inside, it was 4:30pm so we decided we would get ready in an hour which gave us time to make some food. We talked to my mum while we ate and then I went to shower first, I washed my hair and shaved and done all that girly stuff before hopping out, I blow dried my hair and threw on some shorts and one of Camerons tshirts just to wear while I do my makeup and hair. When I was finished in the bathroom Rebecca went in and started on getting herself ready, I was in my room straightening my hair when she came out, we joked around and listened to music while we did our makeup and when we finished we still had an hour before the boys came so we didn't bother getting dressed yet instead we danced around the room getting hyped up for later.

Jay's P.O.V
I pulled up outside Chloe's house and Barry and I both got out of the car and walked up to the front door, I knocked and 5 seconds later Daniel opened the door,
"JAY!" He yelled excited
"Hey buddy!" I laughed at his excitment
"Who's that?" He asked looking at Barry while Barry just stood there awkwardly
"That's my best friend Barry" I introduced him
"Hello, I'm Daniel, Chloe's younger brother" he smiled and Barry just smiled back
"Oh hello Jay" Tina said as she walked around the corner, "I thought I heard Danny say your name" she laughed
"Hello Tina, this is my best friend Barry" I motioned to him
"Hello, nice to meet you" Barry stuck his hand out to shake hers
"Hello" Chloe's mum smiled "the girls will be down in just a second"
"Hey hey hey" Chloe and Rebecca laughed as they spoke in unison
"Speak of the devils" Tina laughed "Okay so you all be safe and boys, please look after these two nutjobs"
"We will" I laughed reassuring her.
We all walked outside and Barry and Rebecca walked to the car together I looked at Chloe
"You look good" I smiled
"Thank you" she looked away shyly.

Chloe's P.O.V
We arrived at the area but we had to walk a bit and the boys were very confused,
"Is this the part where ye kill us?" Barry asked
"Not this part, that happens later on" I joke back and Jay laughed.
We came to a container and I knocked on it 5 times and the door opened,
"Oh hey Chloe" the guy said
"Hey George" I smiled as I walked past, he let Rebecca and the guys in and lead us to the old elevator
"In ye go" he motions, Rebecca and I got in no problem but the boys looked a little skeptical
"It's okay, it won't break down" I laughed and they got in,
"Have fun" George smiled as he closed the door and the elevator started to go down
"So when ye said underground, ye meant-" I cut Jay off
"Underground" I nodded.
The elevator doors opened and the place was busy which meant it was going to be a good night, the boys looked amazed and Barry immediately looked for the bar so that was the first place we went, we ordered a round of shots but I noticed Jay didn't take his so I looked at him confused,
"Driving, remember" he laughed
"Oh yeah" I nodded
"Here, you have it" he pushed the shot towards me and I took it straight away
"Rebecca, lets dance" I said grabbing ber hand and leading her to the dance floor,
We danced around and I gotta admit we looked hot and I could see Barry staring at Rebecca but what Rebecca said shocked me,
"Jay hasn't stopped looking at you" she said into my ear
"He's probably just looking at the crowd" I rolled my eyes
"Yeah I'm sure" she raised her eyebrow at me
"Lets go get more drinks" I said walking off the dance floor over to the boys at the bar
"Having fun?" Jay asked laughing
"Yes, you would be too if you tore yourself away from the bar and danced" I bumped his shoulder while I ordered another drink, I turned to ask Rebecca what she wanted but she was gone,
"Her and Barry walked off together" Jay winked at me
"She's probably losing her life right now, she's liked him for awhile" I laughed
"He's liked her for awhile too" he said shocked,
I downed my drink and looked at Jay,
"Come on, I'm gonna show you how us poor people have fun" I laughed pulling him towards the dance floor.
We danced together and laughed and he actually seemed to be enjoying himself and I was actually enjoying myself,
"I need to get some air" I yell into his ear so he can hear me over the music
"I'll come with you" he yells back and he follows me to the elevator.
Once we get outside I walk a bit away from the container and lean against the rocks,
"This place is pretty cool" he nods
"You enjoying yourself?" I ask looking at him
"I am, are you?" He looks back at me
"Yeah I am" I smile
"So what's going on between you and Cameron?" He asks out of nowhere
"Ugh, I don't even know he's been acting weird lately" I sigh
"Do you love him?" He asks turning to face me completely
"I mean, we've never said it to each other and those words are very serious to me given what happened with my parents, but if you want the truth, no, I don't think I do" I admit
"Then why do you stay with him?" He asked curiously
"Well we're good together, we barely argue, he makes me laugh, I enjoy his company" I think of all the reasons
"Does he make you happy?" He looks down
"I said he makes me laugh" I look at him confused
"I know, but does he make you happy?" He looks back up
"I mean, I guess so" I shrug
"So what happened between your parents?" He asks changing the subject
"My dad was cheating on my mum, there was no arguments or anything, I was put to bed one night by both my parents and the next morning my mum was the only one in the kitchen and all my dads stuff was gone" I explain "Okay so now it's my turn to ask you a question, What happened between you and Eva?" I ask
"How did-" I cut him off
"You're mum told me" I admit
"Well basically I was friends with her since we were kids and she was from your area and she used me to get all the nice expensive things and then another guy like me came along and she dumped me to be friends with him" he stared at the floor the entire time he told me,
"Is that why you hate me? Because I'm from that area? And you think I'm just the same as her?" I ask staring at him
"I don't know, maybe, but you're also annoying and bossy and you and Cameron shoving ye're relationship in everybodys face annoys me but yeah one of the reasons is because of her" he admits
"Why won't you just give me a chance to prove you wrong? Prove to you I'm not like her, and show you that outside of rehearsals I'm a lot less bossy and annoying" I laughed
"Maybe I should" he nodded
"Think about it" I pushed myself off the wall and headed back towards the container with him following close behind me.
